I am sick and tired of games starting out this way. Playing basketball this way is completely unacceptable. Defensive rotations are garbage, they make poor shooting teams look like the best in the league. They bring in defensive minded players and it doesn’t help. Something is fundamentally wrong with the coaching.

Fox looks pretty good
4 assists to 10 turnovers. Not pretty basketball. Some of that is blown shots like Mo’s miss on the bunny after Domas fed him perfectly.
I can’t see this team beating any upper tier team. I can see them making the playin, maybe, then being eliminated immediately. Hopefully Monte can add needed pieces in the off season. Definitely still the cardiac Kings. Definitely some fun moments and honestly feels more fun than before the deadline. Still extremely frustrating.
Need to get in sync offensively in the second half. Defense has picked up but everybody needs more energy.
The starters came out flat to begin the game. Donte seemed to breathe energy to the court.
Poor shooting and not whistles hurt too but I think those issues should even out over the course of the game.
This is why I was hoping Brooklyn would beat Miami. But they did not, and the Kings have to muster up energy to beat this Nets team.

There is a reason I stay pessimistic about this team. Just when things get going in the right direction, Bam, Lucy moves that football again.
Beating Brooklyn is a tough ask given the circumstances, too.

So, basically with Durant, Irving. Simmons and Joe Harris these Kings would easily lose by 30.
The way they played, yes. But there are circumstances to this. Were you expecting this to be complete perfection every time?
Beating any team is a tough ask when you don’t play defense well.
No question. This team isn’t exactly the 96 Bulls. Right? It’s not perfect, but there’s something here to start with has been my point. I’m not into the hyperbolic bullshit about who was right or wrong. It’s too early for that.
I feel you. Sabonis will definitely improve this team in the long run.
How much? So many variables…Coaching, Can he take his game to the next level defensively. He was never a good defender. At what point does Barnes, Holiday and Lamb start to show their age?
Metu is a 10-15 min Guy on a good team.

I wouldn’t be expecting the play in at this point. There’s plenty of issues to solve with this group as we saw tonight.

This isn’t a .500 team, but is (probably) better than it was a week ago. Still a LOT of work to do on the roster and in players figuring out the new dynamic.
Crap ass coaching by Gentry tonight. Bad player combos, left best players on the bench way too long, let the game get out of hand while not utilizing time outs, no passing on offense with Domas and Fox out,etc. Sit Holmes he is a negative on the court currently and has been since he injured his eye.
