Fox’s best end of game performance? I think so. Maybe Lyles should be the back up center. I feel much more confident with him there than Metu.

He’s just so much smarter in tense situations.
The Kings really need to resign him. One of the headiest players on the court, he does all the little things very well and not just what benefits him. He uses his body very effectively and he can post up pretty well with much bigger players. Solid rotational player.
Hey bro, as usual I’m going to agree with you. Lyles has turned out to be one of the best pick ups the Kings have made in recent history. Essentially a throw in to make the money work in a multiple player trade he has only grown after his arrival in Sac.
He showed potential in Sac towards the end of last season and has showed out this season as a very bright high basketball IQ rotational player. I only hope that we can afford to retain him after he gets his well deserved big raise.
I’d say you’re right on but would ad that IMO this was one of the most complete games by Fox period.Love what TD brings and I hope we can afford to keep him. For me as a long time fan this was one of the most satisfying games of the season.
Mavs announcers are saying that their D broke down and that is why the Kings won.
They are entitled to their own opinion but they aren’t entitled to their own facts. Fox broke down their defense and completely dominated the 4th quarter and OT. He was devastating.
Now they are bringing up the tired narrative of Kings not making the playoffs and that is impossible to do even if you try. Then the Halliburton trade. And finally they say the Mavs “split the two games on the road which is essentially a win”. What a pair of Donkeys asses.

That is exactly what they were trying to say. That Fox was draped all over Luka and that caused him to hurry his last shot because they were afraid the Kings would foul him. They must have sneezed when Luka had the ball because he was in 3 Point land and a foul would have been 3 shots. Facts be damned.
There were several times that Derek Harper tried to claim that the Kings were just going to quit and lay down. Mark Followill basically tried to imply the same thing, but they just had almost no success given that Fox took over the game. Then Harper, sort of begrudgingly in OT, said Fox should have been an All-Star to begin with.
I personally enjoy the ‘damming with faint praise’ bit a lot of opponents announcers do. It amuses me. I was surprised to hear Sean Elliott impressed with the Kings this year. That has shocked me everytime I’ve heard the Spurs telecast.
Now they are criticizing Fox for being a “Massive, massive Whataburger fan”. Lordy.

I have nothing but mean and derogatory things to say about Whataburger. If it makes you feel better, I think In N Out is as egregiously overrated (Sonic also) as Whataburger.
I never turn down either. At Las Vegas Summer League I always go to In n Out. Shakes are great.

The diff was, I think this is correct, 74 or 78 points in the paint. But you are spot on only 8 3 point buckets. The biggest by Trey Lyles late in 4th, in my opinion.
74 to 46 paint points Sac. 60 to 24 3 ball points Dallas. 23 FT’s for Sac to Dallas 14 FT’s.
The Kings scored 12 points in non paint 2’s. Dallas scored 8 points off non paint 2’s.
That’s 121 points for Sac off Paint Points, 3’s and FT’s. +4 in non paint 2’s.
Dallas had 120 points off Paint Points, 3’s and FT’s.
Boom. That’s game. Such a tight, tight game.
That was the least enjoyable/stressful and most satisfying game of the season.
