Kings vs. Lakers score: Travis Outlaw (!) leads Sacramento to 104-86 victory

Travis Outlaw shot jumpers like layups and scored 18 as the Kings moved to 1-1 on the preseason with a win in Vegas over the Lakers.

Jimmer scored seven points on 3-5 shooting in 21 minutes. He also had three assists, two steals and two turnovers playing two-guard. Patterson was just 2-9 from the field and had three bounds in 22 minutes.

Since Vasquez is back Monday, Isaiah could very well get the day off. McCallum is off to a really good start in preseason, so it'll be interesting to see if he can get any minutes in games in which both Vasquez and Thomas (who's been Isaiah, which is awesome) are playing. Isaiah has sure started off well enough that Vasquez is behind in the (perhaps overwrought) race for the starting spot.

As for Jimmer: I think he earned more looks. The critical thing there is that the Kings have a decision to make on his 2014-15 contract by the end of the month. So you'd think the front office wants as many chances to see him in a competitive environment as possible.
