What a BIG ＷＩＮ
Total destruction- against an ain’t barely trying lottery looking Laker team. That same team has pick swaps, so even if they get the frozen Ewing lottery card (my fellow conspiracy lovers know what I am talkin’ ‘bout) for Wembanyama they can’t have him.
I am hoping that the increased emphasis on defense makes late game comebacks against the Kings, much less likely. Those 12 point leads with 3 minutes left are less likely to go wrong. My other fantasy is that the success seen with Mike Brown’s Defense is infectious and makes the starters and the rest of the team lovesick with the results and breeds a defensive pride. I think I see that already, but I am susceptible to mirages.
