Excellent close to the quarter. Lakers started to make a little push but the Kings punched back to take the lead into the half. They are the better team but they can’t take it for granted.

Two very fun, entertaining Kings games in a row.
The game crew has been very good. We can’t say they don’t know shit about the Kings.
They did their research. Didn’t like Doros at first but she settled in and is giving some good insight.
Yeah, I gotta admit they are giving the Kings some respect. It’s gotta be tough to be a national broadcaster. You gotta know everything about every team.
A few years ago on a flight to Buffalo I sat next to a producer for Fox Sports who was doing research for the Bills/(I don’t remember) game that weekend and it seemed pretty extensive – he was setting up college and even HS videos for even the benchiest of bench guys if they actually did something and putting together all sorts of talking points for the broadcast crew for basically every player on both teams.
Obviously NBA schedules preclude that kind of setup but NBA teams also have way less players but I can imagine that the production crew is feeding this stuff in to keep up on the game as it goes in much the same way

I don’t think anyone really thinks otherwise but rather that his scoring is somewhat redundant and a defensive oriented starter at the 4 would be more beneficial. What I don’t get is why there isn’t a better trade market for him – he’s a great 3 level scorer, an acceptable playmaker and won’t kill you on the boards
