I think it’s weird that Mark Jones will say “one and done for the Kings” after a missed jumper, but he never says it if the Kings make a basket on the first shot. You get thirty like that, and you win the game.
Kings can’t afford to have another lousy quarter. Lucky to be only down by 10.

Well the Kings are still a quite terrible basketball team for the 17th straight season it looks like, so at least they didn’t compound things by giving Monte an extension this offseason for “stability” reasons. Hopefully their next GM is actually good, but Vivek making the decision inspires nobody
I’m just waiting for another coach firing. Vivek, please do the city of Sacramento a favor and sell the team to someone who cares about winning and has the income to make it happen. This team needs a complete rebuild and it needs to be done correctly. Every other team in the NBA has managed some level of success, poor ownership is the one constant. Poor ownership has beget poor management and poor management has led to a perpetual shit show. I believe Sacramento deserves much better than this. I support this team because it represents my city, the place I was born and raised. It is unfortunate this is how the fans who have supported the team all these years are rewarded. Actually, it’s disgusting. Sorry, I had to rant after another realization of how much this team sucks…. Again.

I applaud your optimism. Unfortunately, I’ve been around too long and know better.
I’ve been rooting for the Kings since freshman year at Davis, 1988. Not saying this is your attitude, but if I always just assumed my team was going to be trash every game, even when they weren’t trash, then I’d find a better hobby than half-rooting for my own team to lose every game.

Certainly wouldn’t. Some parts of the fanbase are more damaged than the franchise. They almost seem unhappy with the win.

I watched a fun, sloppy game and feel happy right now. I saw the Kings come back from 15 down, without Fox. I saw Davion Mitchell break out of a five-game slump. Also, beer is wonderful.
And I’m getting lots of Trick or Treaters which I love and will give them extra helpings of candy!

I know this seem odd but I was never feeling like they were out of the game… even when 15 down at half… Sabonis will figure this fouls stuff down. Davis and Monk will shoot better and play better and Holmes will not stay straight Garbage! Go Kangz!
