Good to see De’Aaron still has some speed in there. I was expecting he would be, but it’s nice to see they are still taking the ball to the cup. Even then, Memphis is outscoring the Kings 22 to 14 in paint points. Kings probably need to even that up to win.

We know that Luke, Alvin, and Doug are nowhere close to good coaches. However, it’s also evident that long as we keep putting together rosters stocked with two or three average-to-above players, and a huge contingent of back of rotation to end of bench guys, this team will continue to miss the post-season in a league where 2/3 of the teams make it.
I am totally ok with forfeiting games until some trades are made. Get a real roster then try again.

I’ve really grown to love this train wreck so friggin much.
When games were this bad in past years, I always looked forward to seeing the garbage guys play in hopes there may be some glimmer of hope. I’d perk up when the Frank Masons, Ray McCallums, etc. of the world entered the game. With this year’s team, I can’t think of anyone I’d like to see in garbage time.

We keep telling ourselves that. Meanwhile, Vlade’s one big interview period, prior to the Joerger hiring, yielded a cornucopia of garbage in Del Negro, McHale, and Mitchell. No other desirable candidates came in. Coupled with the fact that GM candidates yanked their own names from the hiring process that landed us McNair, tells me that this isn’t a place people want jobs at.
