Kevin Huerter has been a near perfect fit at SG the last 10 games. Shooting well, rebounding, playing defense, making the right decisions with the ball, etc. If he could be this player on a consistent basis he’d be a perfect long-term piece.

Domas wandered out to contest a shot and that allowed Vucevic to get a rebound over three Kings. It is absurd how much this team needs Domas to get every rebound.

I feel like Huerter’s ability to read passing lanes and get steals is a super underrated part of his game, he’s been able to consistently get like 1.5 (random guestimate stat) steals a game since coming here.
I think that was missing from his game the first part of the season. He’s making up for it the last couple of weeks.

Fox made his shots tonight. Give him credit. But if he misses them we’re all bemoaning hero ball as we suffer another mega collapse. Mike Brown needs to get some fresh ideas for closing games out down the stretch cuz what he’s got right now ain’t workin.
That usually how most of our losses go, we have a massive lead and then a mega collapse. Then Fox has to play hero ball to get us back in, which works out less than half the time so I agree we need better strategies and having other players to get involved into closing out the game.
Never in doubt!…. that was brutal. Glad we won, but damn! Quit doing that to us!

Second game in a row where it shouldn’t have been as close as it was at the end. Lots to learn from in these two games. But they pulled it out on the road on a SEGABABA. Ten games over 0.500 yeah!
FTs down the stretch won the game for us.
Bulls commentators pointed out how White didn’t get any touches down the stretch even though he was killing us. Feels kinda similar to Moody and Kuminga getting pulled while they were torching us in that IST game.

The way to close out these games is to keep the leads they obtain. Defensive stops. Someone who can play great on ball defense. The Kings have to get defensive help before the deadline. Have too. Go get Caruso or Dorian F Smith. Get Tyus Jones to help the offense by limiting turnovers. He has the best assist to turnover ratio in the league. Obtaining 2 of those 3 players is very doable and would improve this team immensely. Could catapult the Kings into the 2nd round of playoffs and depending on the matchup, maybe even further.
The Kings are the apparently the easiest team to make a come back on from 20+ points. Not sure there is anything they can do, it seems its just the character of this team to let up when they have a big lead.
