Kings 94, Grizzlies 93: The Kings Of Clutch care not for your tank!

Bogi was the hero tonight

With a minute remaining in Memphis a good basketball game suddently broke out. With the game tied at 87 apiece, Willie Cauley-Stein slammed home a dunk off a nice pass from Justin Jackson. The Memphis Grizzlies answered back with a shot-clock beating three from Mario Chalmers to put the Grizz up one. Justin Jackson responded with a corner three, Kings back up by two. Dillon Brooks responded with a three, Grizzlies up one.

The Grind House didn’t care about ping pong balls, the place was rocking. Memphis had a foul to give but opted not to use it, allowing Bogdan Bogdanovic to drain a jumper from the free throw line.

It came down to a desperation play for Memphis with 1.1 seconds remaining, but Bogi deflected the ball and got the steal to seal the Kings victory.

I’m sure we’ll discuss how this impacts lotto odds and whether it’s better to learn to win or if these wins mean anything at all, but for now I’m still in awe of that final 60 seconds of game-action. That was fun.
