Savor these types of wins Kings fans!
What a game we witnessed as the Sacramento Kings have won five straight games to open the season at a record of 6-3!
De’Aaron Fox is the biggest storyline from this game, as he earned his first career triple double. Buddy Hield, Nemanja Bjelica and Marvin Bagley were all big today as well.
The Kings opened the game up in the second quarter but the Hawks came back towards the end of the half to make it a game again. However, the Kings completely blew the game open in the third, scoring a whopping 46 points. They started off the fourth quarter slow thanks to the bench’s inability to produce on both ends of the floor, so the starters came back in and wrapped it up.
Sacramento scored 146 and allowed 115 to the team that was number one in pace. Let that sink in, Atlanta.

Best Players
De’Aaron Fox heated up in the third quarter and finished with 31 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds on 9/13 shooting, 3⁄4 three point shooting and 10/11 free throw shooting. I don’t need to say any more.
Buddy Hield is the perfect guard to go alongside Fox and I can’t wait for Bogi to enter the mix. Hield scored 27 points on 10/17 shooting (5/7 from three) and had six assists and five rebounds. He was solid on both ends of the floor.
Nemanja Bjelica started the game on fire but cooled down the rest of the way. He still made threes when the team needed him and he continues to prove himself as a wonderful signing. Bjelica finished with 19 points on 7/11 shooting.
Marvin Bagley was great off the bench, going for 18 on 7/10 shooting (he also made all four free throws) and grabbed five rebounds. He was easily the most productive player off the bench, with Koufos also providing eight crucial points.
Willie Money Watch
Willie played 25 minutes and scored 12 points on 6/8 shooting to go with six rebounds and three steals. He’s still on pace to get that cash because he has been very, very solid.
Notable Stats
The backup point guards of Frank Mason and Yogi Ferrell failed to score a basket, but Mason made four free throws.
The Kings had 38 assists and 14 steals. They also had 38 fast break points.
The Game in One Sentence
Fox is better than Lonzo.
Next Game
The Kings head to Milwaukee to face Giannis and the Bucks this Sunday at 12:30 PM PST.
