Kings 103, Pacers 106: Victor Ola-Oh No

A fun back and forth ending ends in an Indiana victory.
By | 0 Comments | Mar 30, 2018

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again.

If you’re going to lose, lose like this.

Blowouts? Nah. Wins? Never heard of her. Close games that can result in a win or a loss? Sure!

In all seriousness, this was an entertaining game all the way to the incredibly fun finish. Both teams went back and forth the whole way but Victor Oladipo and the other Bogdanovic led the way for the Indiana Pacers.

Oladipo would nail a huge three to extend the Indiana lead to 102-98. Then, Buddy Hield answered with a tough, contested three. Then following two free throws, the real Bogdanovic drilled a three from near the logo to make it 104-103. However, the Pacers would be able to seal it at 106-103.

Best Performers

Bogdan Bogdanovic had himself a great game, going for 21 points, three rebounds and four assists. He shot 8/15 from the field and went 4/9 from three in 39 minutes.

Buddy Hield: Buddy Buckets returned again with yet another great game off the bench in 30 minutes. I’m telling you that Buddy and Bogi are gonna be a fantastic shooting guard duo going into the future. Buddy finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists. He shot 7/12 overall, 4/7 from three.

Willie Cauley-Stein: Willie had himself another great game going for 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists. After shooting 5/5 in their last game, he was 9/11 shooting today. His first half stuck out the most with his scoring, but he barely scored in the second half.

Quick Takeaways

I was very impressed the way Willie came out in the first half. Only if he could play like this all the time and for a whole game.

Buddy and Bogi will only get better in the clutch (even if they win or lose). Sounds so dangerous, doesn’t it?

Skal Labissiere only had two points on 1/5 shooting in 26 minutes. He had 19 in the previous game against Dallas.

Next Game

The Kings host the “Golden” State “Warriors” on Saturday at 7:00 PM PST.

The Game in Two Sentences

The fake Bogdanovic scored 25 points but didn’t produce anything else besides turnovers and fouls. Sounds fishy to me, “Bojan”.
