Turns out that a snake oil magnetic balance bracelet company might not have been the smartest choice for a naming rights deal. Power Balance is now in bankruptcy, and it has been confirmed that they will no longer be the naming sponsor for the Kings. Yet the team has yet to announce a new naming rights sponsor.

There was talk that Sleep Train might get involved, followed by various, conflicting reports as to whether or not discussions were ongoing, and what may have caused talks to end, if in fact they ended.

But that matters not. The issue at hand is that we can't go on calling it [TO BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE] Arena. As much as TBAAALD Arena rolls off the tongue, we need a new moniker for it.

A comment by SPTSJUNKIE in the above-linked post gave me an idea. SPTSJUNKIE suggested we call it Summer's Eve Arena. That certainly made me laugh, but it made me wonder what else we could come up with, so we're going to have a naming rights contest.
