This is why Huerter has to find his shot again. Hard to go all series vs Curry/Klay with their shooting if the Kings top 3PT guys aren’t pulling their weight. Keegan finally found his shot in Game 4, but they’re leaning heavily on Fox and Monk to try and offset things
Huerter and Domas had a good play together. Hope we can see a lot more of that.
Huerter and Barnes just can’t find it. Huerter’s been missing defensive rotations repeatedly. Offense tonight is incredible, but the defense is equally bad.

Exactly the time for HB to get to the line. Our stallion Domas is getting stuffed by Draymond and Looney, the whole DHO offense blown up, Warriors feeding off it, Kings scrambling, … that it when HB can get the team back on track with a couple trips to the line.
After going 8/12 from 3PT in the 1st quarter, the Kings are 1/15 since. 3PT shooting has been a disaster for them outside of Game 4

I think that’s a lazy analysis that does not diagnose the problems.
Too much hero ball. We saw ball movement in the 1st quarter. Game went on, you see players running into crowds, contested threes, no ball movement for open shots.
This team is clearly not disciplined enough for the playoffs and it absolutely shows. I think they will come out of this better next season and McNair is going to need to make a lot of big choices to improve the defense.
I think that’s getting closer to the real issue. What happens when a team shuts down the Sabonis DHO offense. What’s your counter? individual heroics? that won game 1 and 2, but nothing more.
No they didn’t. That is just the frustration coming out. They closed to within 1 and had a chance before turnovers sealed an impressive run.

Seen this so many times. Teams start chucking 3s playing the Ws when should stay in their lane. We have them in the penalty go to the rack. It’s been working.
Can’t argue with Brown’s coaching. He’s been incredible. But pulling Davion off the floor in the last two minutes was a mistake. That play does not happen with Davion on the floor.
Good experience for the Kings all in all and a good season. If they want to advance further in the playoffs moving forward, gonna need a lot more from guys like Domas and Huerter. Both really folded all series
Domas being outplayed and Fox clearly being injured is too much to overcome for Monk. A damn shame.
Monk and Fox showed up. Domas had nice looking stats but got outplayed again. Some other guys had spurts. Overall though, we wilted and Fox lost his handle at the wrong time.
I think Sabonis should shoot the open shot. and there should be more plays that get him the ball before he’s used up his dribble so that he is a triple threat.

Yep. We’ve fallen in love with the 3. We need to take in first, and then maybe shoot the 3. Too many possessions passing around the perimeter and then shooting an outside shot.
The series isn’t over, I think this is still going to seven games, so I hate to even raise this but the off-season has to see a real coached up focus on Defense, especially rotational defense.

111-110 with 4:14 to go. Then Kings went full on hero mode. Hate to say it but Green killed us tonight. Scoring, steals, defense. It’s not over yet but the Kings have a near impossible task.
Green has done, what Sabonis won’t. And the killer is that Green is a 4th and 5th option, while we’re looking at Sabonis hoping he’s number 2….and he’s not.
