Kings have lost focus in this game and are outside their game plan on offense and defense.
Rough 1st for the Kings. Defense looked a step slow and they still can’t shoot the ball for whatever reason
Feels as though things are going as well as possible for the Warriors and yet their lead still seems unconvincing. Kings will cut down on TOs, start knocking down shots, and cruise is my prediction.

Sabonis HAS to be aggressive looking for his shot first, and then distribute second. It’s too easy to guard him if he looks to pass first
The game is still for the taking. A little run could cure things for the Kings.
You’d think the Kings were down 0-2 and had their spirits crushed on Monday, the way they are playing. Hesitant, twitchy, slow to react, dumb decisions. It’s like watching a nervous JV team their first time playing in front of their parents.

We’re lucky to be 2-0 with essentially one starter showing up so far. We don’t win unless tonight our other starters get their shtuff together.

I think Keegan can get another shot out there. It’s not like anyone else is really stepping up.
Team already knew going in that the officiating would favor the Warriors, especially after the public whining from them the past 2 games. Kings gotta do a better job of overcoming it instead of playing right into their hands

Right at tipoff you could feel the uneasiness of the crowd. They really didn’t know if they were about to watch their team get knocked out cold in front of them. Kings needed to punch first and suffocate the arena. Instead, missed shots, poor decision making, and turnovers let the Warriors get early momentum. Now you got to counter that momentum, rather than just having to polish off a downtrodden team.
Offensive boards and 2nd chance points
Jeez what a sloppy first half. At the very least, everything that’s wrong can be fixed in the second half (hit FTs, no TOs, no OREBs, get to the basket). 12 points is far from an insurmountable lead, but they can’t come out playing like that again.
Warriors want it more. Beating us at our own game.

Credit to the Warriors hustle and energy. Frustrating because the Kings are the better team, they just need to focus and make better decisions with the ball.

Warriors not even shooting it well but it hasn’t mattered with just how much worse the Kings shooting has been. Gotta expect Curry to try and bury this team in the 3rd with one of his insane scoring quarters

Lowing scoring 1st half for the Kings this season. They really need Huerter and Keegan to find their damn shot from 3PT at some point this series. Huerter 3/19 so far and Keegan is 0/5. Huerter at least has been solid from midrange but Keegan’s pretty much become unplayable with him not hitting his 3’s this series

i’m keeping up with the game via ESPN.com gamecast and commentary here (don’t have TNT). Are the Kings at least taking 3s that are coming in the flow of the offense and are just missing or are they just chucking shit up?

That sucked but you figured the defending champs were gonna respond with their backs against a wall in a game that was must win for them. That said, I’m not even sure they played that well tbh. They struggled shooting it too but the Kings were just on a whole other level of bad with their shooting. Warriors did look like the more energized team though, playing with a lot more effort than the Kings did. That’s the big disappointment in this one

Kings at 27.5% on threes in the series. That number absolutely has to improve.
