Missed shots and sloppy mistakes on offense in the first quarter. Otherwise, the defensive end looks pretty good. If the Kings can clean it up, which I suspect they will, I feel pretty good about this game.

Kings are feeling it
Based on the 6 quarters of basketball I have seen, the Kings are a better basketball team than the Warriors. The Warriors just have Steph Curry.

And here’s the value of De’Aaron drawing that 4th foul: Monk gets a touch foul and now gets 2 FT’s as a result.
That’s why De’Aaron shooting 3’s is a bit of a double edged sword. He’ll never put the type of pressure on the defense shooting 3’s that he will getting into the lane.

The Kings have to stay focused, they cannot let the refs take them mentally out of the game. This is the nba, this is how it is going to go for the Kings. But they can play though it by not getting frustrated.

Gives more time for him to rest and play hard d on Steph in the second half. If Davion can hold it down offensively like he is right now, i have a good feeling about this game.
I just hope he doesn’t shoot as many 3’s in the 2nd half.

I agree. Go to the mid range and the hoop if there is an open lane. Be selective on the 3’s when they drop back to cover his mid range game.

Looks to me like Zarba is the worst of the group. Seems like a lot of the bad calls are coming from him.
Sloppy 1st quarter. Then Monk drilled three 3’s, and everyone started balling.
Davion playing his usual great play. Barkley said “Man Sacramento is deep…Mitchel is making Steph work for every shot, close enough to shake hands. These boys are coming in droves”. Heurter having a good game. Sabonis getting mauled and still has 12 points.

A fast pace and physical first half. Lead to lots of turnovers by both teams. Kings winning the extra effort categories.
Davion doing as good a job as **anyone** could do on Curry so far.

Fox with 3 fouls means Davion has to pick up the slack and so far he’s answering the call.
Watching Fox walk into the locker at halftime looking like he’s just getting warmed up, talking about taking care of business in the second half is so inspiring. He really doesn’t care that he’s staring down NBA Legends.
