Thornton scores 32 as Kings fall to Nuggets 120-113

Marcus Thornton led all scorers with 32 points off the bench, but the Kings still fell well short against a superior Nuggets team.

This scoring outburst continues a trend for Thornton, who has scored 20+ points in 4 of the Kings' last 5 games.

At the end of the day, the Nuggets are simply a better team and have had the Kings' number all season. And really, tonight's match-up can probably be best summed up by DeMarcus Cousins and Jason Thompson scoring two points for Denver:

As a side note, kudos to the fans in attendance. SA-CRA-MEN-TO chants could be heard loud and clear throughout the game. Bravo.
