Report: Evans Feels Disrespected, Wants to Sign with New Orleans; Evans’ Camp Refutes

ESPN's Marc Stein and John Goodman report that Tyreke Evans is now leaning towards accepting the Pelicans' offer sheet of 4 years and $44 million after Sacramento has yet to make a counter-offer. However Evans camp has refuted the report.

The Kings have been very quiet on the Free Agent front since rescinding their offer to Denver's Andre Iguodala yesterday. Meanwhile, Sacramento's own Free Agent, Tyreke Evans, is mulling whether or not to accept a 4 year, $44 million deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein and John Goodman, Evans is leaning towards accepting New Orleans' offer.

Now I will say that we heard last night from James Ham and this morning from Jason Jones that Tyreke's preference is to stay in Sacramento should he get similar money. Jones also tweeted this after ESPN's report came out:

Also, it's possible that this ESPN report is completely false and Evans isn't close to accepting New Orleans' offer. Per Carmichael Dave:
