Good call about New Year’s Eve. It’s strictly amateur hour, and I have no interest in being killed by a drunk driver.
Well, not no interest. I have a mild nihilistic streak.
Shorter than usual but just as enjoyable .
That, my good man, is what she said.
When I drank all the time, my favorite holiday of the year was New Year’s Eve because it was the one time I was compelled to not drink. And it’s a horrible time to go out if you’re not into crowds or people or anything really.
So I always prefer to be working that night whenever possible.
Good discussion.
The injury does not change any trade targets for the Kings. There are just not any game changers out there- a few possibilities but nothing solid. There may be game changers available but that would require big movement and a shift in momentum which is not a good idea now and this year.
DS has the same injury that Aaron Rodgers is playing with currently. So possible to play but he will not be as effective. The rest have to step up. Monte may get a rabbit from the hat. Kings still have a pick next year in a strong draft. This is not the pinnacle year but a preparation year. I would love to finish in top 6 but other teams are closing in and a 5-game win streak from one of those is a killer. Wolves may get KAT back, the duds are always lurking, and the Mavs have MB3 (oops, the other guy, Luka)
An aside- the Grizz got a bit out over the end of their skis on Christmas- started to believe their press. Foolish.
