Corey Brewer is a Sacramento King, not just in the uniform he wears but in the spirit he embodies. After two 10-day contracts and earning a contract for the remainder of the season, Brewer has been a fine addition to the bench. He’s a hard worker, pesky defender, and by all accounts he’s just a good dude. He’s also already expressed an interest in returning the Kings next season.
I think we're going to be really good for a lot of seasons to come, and I'd love to be back https://t.co/ozV4Hty8cv

So far, so good, right? But if you truly want to win the hearts and minds of Sacramento Kings fans, there’s no more proven method than hurting the Lakers. Beat the Lakers, talk trash about the Lakers, it doesn’t really matter, we’re here for all of it.
Corey Brewer did even better.
It turns out Corey Brewer may have been almost single-handedly responsible for Paul George spurning the Lakers and staying with Oklahoma City. From Dave McMenamin of ESPN, via Silver Screen and Roll:
Is it weird and petty to enjoy this news as much as I am? Yes. But I don’t care. The Kings need to bring back Corey Brewer next season, and as long as he’d like after that. He’s earned a place as a Kings legend.
