I have to agree Nate but I did learn a couple of things: #1. I’m not a Post Malone fan. #2. I’ve been living like a Rock Star for years……..not. #3. I don’t believe there is going to be any defense played in this game at all!

Lost my stream but from what I saw jaylen brown must have beef with Fox 🤷🏻♂️ lol. Ended up on a YouTube rabbit hole watching a Jason Williams documentary and man those 98-01 Kings were wild I forgot that they were so popular. Growing up in the Boston area I never really got to watch them after moving from NorCal. I wish there was better footage of those teams.
I’ve only been able to watch the team consistently lose. Fun reminder of how awesome this season is though!

Huerter didn’t have the worst all-star appearance, after all.
It appeared fox was there, but was forced to play as a last minute replacement. He didn’t look like he belonged. It is a shame because his work this year puts him as deserving even if he didn’t feel it.

Made it through a few picks….tried again and made it through the Canadian national anthem. At that point it was obvious that I had to do something else. Saw the military present the flag which I did out of respect for the military and the flag….not the show on television. Then went outside to pick up dog shit.

I vaguely remember a time when the East played the West and the teams were selected in a reasonable manner. Good times then.
255 total shots. 126 total 3’s. 6 guys with 19 or more FGA’s. 4 total FA’s (all for team Giannis- who basically didn’t play).
Honestly, I’m not salty about how Kings players showed out. That said, having peeked in for the first time in a while, this whole weekend is a pretty sad event. I feel it would be much better if there were no game (or weekend). The dunk contest was not saved. Might was well just bring in a dunk exhibitionist (he was great but…). It’s just not what it once was and even that was pretty questionable. Everything about All Star weekend feels very forced and pathetic.
It would be a lot better if they stop pretending there was a game like there used to be. But I think that’s the issue: There’s an expectation that these guys play….when they are clearly not going to.
I agree with having dunk exhibitionists. The more awesome dunks, the better and they can use the players as props (so no change there).

This game is an insult to any serious basketball fan !
Just do a rising stars tournament. 4 teams of 10 selected by the coaches. 1st half of the game= 20 minutes. 2nd half of the game = 20 minutes. Every player on the 10 man roster has to log at least 15 minutes in each game. Winning team players and coach each get a $500,000.00 bonus. 2nd place team players and coach each get a $250,000.00 bonus. 3rd place team players and coach each get a $125,000.00 bonus. 4th place team players and coach each get a $62,250.00 bonus.
Dunk contest, 3pt contest and skills challenge are all with fan selected contestants from any 1st or 2nd year players. Winners of each competition get $250,000.00.
This would be exciting and introduce young talented players to fans all over the world. And the competition would be real.
