With 53.8% of the vote, Nate Ament is off the board for the Kings Herald Community Draft Board. He joins Cameron Carr, Labaron Philon, Aday Mara, Yaxel Lendeborg, Brayden Burries, Mikel Brown Jr., Keaton Wagler, Kingston Flemings, Darius Acuff Jr., Darryn Peterson, Caleb Wilson, Cameron Boozer and AJ Dybantsa off the board.
This is the readership’s opportunity to create a democratic draft board which represents the order in which we as a collective would like the Kings’ draft board to look like. It does not represent the desires of individual writers or fans, but some semblance of the community’s collective thinking.
When a choice comes up, pick who you’d want the Kings to pick given all the players remaining. Note: THIS IS NOT A MOCK DRAFT. This is a draft board, a ranked list of prospects you’d like to see the Kings pick. In other words, if we were the Kings front office, when our pick came up, we’d take the top name left on our board. So pick your choice, not who you think Scott Perry or anyone else would choose in a slot.
Explain your choice in the comments, and thanks for participating in this year’s community draft board!

Alright final day here. I’m going to take Ebuka Okorie here. I don’t have him as high as the other guards because of his streaky outside shooting and lower playmaking, but the other commenter who has been lobbying for him is correct in that it is very impressive he led the ACC in scoring as a Freshman.
Thanks all for participating and commenting over the last few weeks!
Thanks for putting this together, Aykis. It’s been nice talking prospects with the community.
The League is getting bigger and more skilled.
Sacramento is a small team at every position. Gimme some size.
Morez Johnson, Jr. at #15
I agree. They have been undersized for so long. Get more size and strength in the front court.
Voted Christian Anderson. Why?
One of the best shooters in this draft and better defender than Acuff.
Anderson had a much better game against Duke than Okorie.
After all these years, from Evans to Fox, I just want a pg who can be a reliable shooter.
Hans down, an interesting choice
Writing in Allen Graves here. I would describe him as Nic Batum adjacent. His athleticism does not jump off the page, but he’s young, smart, can shoot a little, and competes.
Thanks to everyone that participated. I picked up a lot of great information in the threads, and it is greatly appreciated.
And you still know nothing?
At least he’s smart enough to admit it
…There’s that managing partner who thinks wealth compensates for ignorance. Sigh.
I’m not even sure if I know that much.
Same. Allen Graves.
He just seems to have that “it” factor that will make him a solid pro. Probably not a star, but a lead role player on a good team. I could see him being a bigger version of Josh Hart, which means he should probably be a lottery pick. FWIW, I think he will be.
Morez for me, because we need height.
On another note and OT:

That’s another way of saying “It doesn’t really matter…it won’t make anybody feel any better?”
To his point, he’s kinda right. Talking about it doesn’t change anything. Just look forward to the next game and how to beat the Knicks.
But as a fan, I want to see my star players acknowledge what happened. Take ownership.
But, it doesn’t really matter, it won’t make anybody feel any better.
Its what we teach our kids: accountability.
Owning up that you effed up means you will try not to do the same mistake again, otherwise, you will always think that you are right. I was a Fox fan when he was here and he usually deflects in moments like this, unfortunately.
OT: Well that’s quite the headline to wake up to today.

Unlawful weapons in Texas? What was he carrying? An RPG?
