  1. I mean you have to wonder how some of these guys get there front office jobs. So New Orleans swaps first round picks with Atlanta to move up from 23 to 13. They give up next years UNPROTECTED first round pick. So they give up Asa Newell and next years first for the 13th pick. Here’s a team who could very well struggle next year and to give up your first round pick unprotected I’m not sure what they are thinking. That is a Vlade move.

You should send in your resume to these teams to be their GM.

That’s a Vlade level trade. Truly perplexing.

Really like what Atlanta did yesterday. We need to find a sucker like the Pelicans who will take DDR and give us some draft capital.

Fleming just looks like a great wing. Hope we don’t regret not taking him.

He looks like a limited offensive player, mostly a spot up shooter, and his shot was questionable. Defensively, he looks solid.

All he does is dunk on people or shoot 3s at a very respectable clip (39% last year) while swatting shots on D…the Kings could have really used someone with his upside and current skills.

Any 6’2”-6’3” SGs left for us to pick? Preferably with poor handles and spotty shooting.

Maxime and Markovic are still in the board. One of them will be available, and the Suns already took a C, and traded for a C.

Proctor or Maxime. Tall PG or taller C. Make JV tradeable for assets.

Maxime. Yes. 20/10 guy who can hit the 3. I like it.

Does this mean we may shop Domas? I hope not. Nothing against DeRozan but I think moving on from him would be better.

Besides, I want to see the 1-2 punch of Doma-Nique

I think they’ll G league him while JV’s contract plays out or is traded unless he just completely blow it out of the water from the get.

I don’t think a 2nd round Center means the team will move Domas.

Bleacher Report compares him to Quinten Post:

While Raynaud played a No. 1 option role at Stanford, his role in the pros is more likely to mirror that of Golden State Warriors center Quinten Post.

Like the Dutchman, Raynaud will be valued for his shooting stroke from the 5 position, though both have enough size and skill to score around the block.

Neither projects to become a star, but both possess the skill sets to crack starter rotations.

Huh, they passed on Maxime at 24, and got him at 42…wasn’t there much consternation in the draft thread yesterday about Perry being an idiot for not taking Maxime at 24? Maybe Perry knows a thing or two?

Maybe my take is wrong, but he’s slow footed so he can’t defend on the perimeter. He can shoot the three but I think Cam Jones would’ve been a good pic here. Or Markovic because he could’ve played the four and still provide a good rebounding.

Well Kam Jones, the Marquette player, went at 38.

Idk if Maxime will be anything other than a backup C. It’s just that the instant reaction to criticizing a GM for not taking a certain player at a certain pick happens with no real basis. Not you, but some others.

Just ignore my negativity. I’m feeling defeated because we don’t have a strong power forward or even a decent one and we don’t have a point guard. But we once had Fox and we once had Halliburton now we have Markelle Fultz. Sorry I need to stop being negative.

Not really a fan of Reynaud at all – hope I’m wrong but he was a player that I thought was successful due ENTIRELY to be being taller than most. That won’t help him in the NBA.

I really though the Kings would go with Javon Small, he just does everything well and he has such competitive fire. I thought he could be a long-term backup PG with the ability to spot start.

Maxime Raynaud. Love the f—ing pick. A 7 foot tall center. French. Beats Victor Wembanyama in chess. A legitimate developmental prospect in the 2nd round.

If he’s not drafted, I’d be interested in stashing Hunter Sallis in Stockton. His draft profile reads like a bargain version of last year’s prospect Ryan Dunn, who I really liked.

Still doesn’t solve our PG problem but I like defensive players.
