The Sacramento Kings defeated the Chicago Bulls 126-110 at the Golden 1 Center Sunday. The Kings scored 68 points in the paint to the Bulls 36. And Sacramento only had 4 turnovers to go along with 33 assists.

The Kings are now 15-50. The Indiana Pacers lost Sunday, pulling even with the Kings with 15 wins of their own. The Pacers are on a 9 game losing streak. And Indiana is coming to Sacramento Tuesday. Get ready for a classic tankoff!
From Earlier Update:
The Sacramento Kings enter Sunday 1.5 games ahead of the Indiana Pacers for the worst record in the league with 18 games remaining and an old friend, the Chicago Bulls, in town.
Who: Sacramento Kings (14-15) vs. Chicago Bulls (26-37)
Where: Golden 1 Center, Sacramento, CA
When: 6:00 PM PT / 9:00 PM ET
Watch: NBCSCA / League Pass
The Chicago Bulls aren’t technically eliminated from the Eastern Conference play-in race quite yet, but they arguably have more to gain from tanking this game out than the Kings do. I’m expecting Chicago to win, because Kings, but we are officially in the softest stage of Sacramento’s season. This contest is dangerously winnable.
Prediction: Kings 117, Bulls 105.

Much like us, the Bulls had been falling,
But of late their tank has been stalling.
They’ve now won two of three;
For tonight, guess we’ll see.
While Vivek is still here and appalling!
+1 Which team will win tonight?
Since I haven’t been watching much Kings basketball, I’ve been following a bit more college ball this year, with keeping a keen eye on the draft. Because of all that, I’ve been getting some interesting videos in my feeds.
This one was quite fascinating, IMO. If focuses on the defense the University of Hawaii is currently running and how it is different from anyone else. Long story short, they don’t switch on defense, everyone stays home and as a result they give up the least 3pt attempts and assists. Not sure it would work in the NBA, but interesting nonetheless.
I dunno, Adamsite. I’ve watched and attended a fair amount of Kings games this season, and I have to tell you, Sacramento already doesn’t play defense like any of the other NBA teams already.
The Nets beating the Pistons last night was a gift. Let’s see what today brings.
It’s also tough to evaluate Killian Hayes, Kayte, when he’s playing less then ten minutes per game so we can give this Westbrook guy some run to see what he’s all about.
I didn’t even realize they signed him to another 10-day. Shrug.
Pointless “win” if Monk and Westbrook are leading your team. This org must really want to stay bad.
The Pacers really enjoyed this weekend’s results, all around.
Must lose game on Tuesday. Going to be absolute tank cinema.
You’re right, except Westbrook will probably take over both games against the Clippers later this season and will the Kings to victory to shove it in the face of old Clippers media enemies (and Matt George).
Christie needs to limit his minutes then. Simple as that.
I’ll be very surprised if we lose to Indy. They are tanking. We are still trying to win. We just suck. I think we’ll end up with the 4th worst record and end up picking 6th or 7th.
That would be heartbreaking.
I’m really glad we have Malik and Westbrook and DeMar available to take the play creation duties away from the young guys. They need to learn early that they should never try to create on their own and always defer to an overpaid, likely over-the-hill former all-star/fan favorite.
