Need to out-3 the Clips. Let’s go rinse and repeat
Love that photo of Zubac. He reminds me of Kronk from Emperor’s New Groove.
I have lined up five shot glasses of “Hopium”.
Let’s Go Kings. Kick some ass.
I don’t particularly care for him either, but why are we booing Harden?
so sloppy – both teams
Fox taking a wild, awful three while looking for a nonexistent foul call, and then slicing into the lane in transition and refusing to take a wide open shot from the foul line. This man is driving me nuts this season.
Fox takes an off balance 3 and then does not take the open middy at the FT line
He was one of the most efficient finishers and mid range guys all last season and has just completely abandoned it for what has been statistically his worst shot for his entire career. As baffling as it is maddening.
yeah, I thought he made tremendous improvement with his shot selection last year …
I’ve heard some people say that he’s doing it to extend his career. And that’s a perfectly reasonable explanation. But he is not as effective when he’s not attacking the cup. And so if moving forward he’s going to be jacking 10+ threes a game on 33%, then it would seem his best years are behind him.
Kings defense looks excellent.
no-one is cutting when Domas has the ball
5-5 between two teams that scored in the 170s against one another a season ago.
I’d love to see Harden keep posting up Davion.
Muscle weighs more than fat.
you asked for it, and … wait a second, Davion stuffed him
Why did Mike Brown put Duarte in when we have Sasha and Kessler.
Making a three in two minutes of garbage time against the Jazz equates to being a rotation player in an incredibly important game apparently.
So he can step out of bounds and waste that great D by Mitchell
So someone needs to tell the Kings that PG likes that spot from 3.
Bad challenge, we just can’t close out threes properly. 3 timeouts wasted in a single quarter
Whatever I feel about a challenge, the opposite comes true.
PG told the ref to call a foul and then she did. Unreal.
Fratello as Clips’ color is everyone’s cranky uncle. Why does he get paid to speak?
Keegan is the shining beacon of hope in the storm of this season
Fratello sounds absolutely baffled that the favored home team could have tied the score.
Sure is nice to have Lyles back.
Scott Foster is the best
I totally forgot how irrationally happy it makes me to see Sasha play
Such a pleasure seeing Vezenkov playing again.
He’s looking leaner than I remembered
He’s like the craftiest guy at the Y.
Ellis out. Bad half for him.
Trey, so glad you’re back.
Lensanity is back.
Many impressive defensive sequences by these Kings.
It’s Lensanity!
Hasn’t scored a point, but making a huge impact!
Davion is money from those corners
Lyles wasn’t injured. He was making 500 3s a day in secret.
Keegan is playing with patience, confidence and aggression right now
Clippers announcers talking a whole lot about getting into the penalty. Are we in the penalty? How do we get into penalty?
Are they built that much around free throws?
17 point lead down to 6, 4 timeouts burned before halftime. Get Trey back in
Feeling pretty 8-on-5-y right now
Zubac’s had like 4 push-offs on the rebound, that was the first one they actually called
now that everyone is allowed to push off one another … I think Sasha might be one of the team’s better offensive weapons.
Kings bootleg stream showing a promo video for the Clippers’ new arena for some reason.
Fastest I’ve seen Harden run was in pursuit of a ref to complain about his travel.
there’s HB
I know his shot hasn’t been there tonight, but I wish Keon took that open 3, needs to keep his confidence up.
How nice to get auto foul PG13
Fox sits with 5:45 in the third. I think this stretch is crucial.
OH MY GOODNESS KEEGAN MURRAY
That was a great dunk but that might be the lightest impact that I’ve ever seen on a poster.
Man I love these guys when they go on runs like this.
….3rd shot glass of “Hopium”.
How’s it going so far? Can you handle all 5?
I’ll give it a whirl, maybe that’s a whirly…
Defense will win this game. So far so good.
Fratello said a key for the Clips was dominating the Kings while Fox was on the bench.
So much for that idea.
Vibes wise, this game feels very strongly like last year’s team.
The game is slowing down for Davion right in front of our eyes. What a pocket pass that was.
Powell going to come in and start jacking up
3’s. Put Davion on him.
So glad to see that.
Amen.
in the offseason other teams are going to inquire about Keon and Davion. Both developing really well. Davion has had an amazingly very competent, if not really good three week stretch, maybe since the all star back.
Still not comfortable. Close out the quarter up 20.
Ask and you shall recieve!
How about 21?!
That works, too!
Scott Foster?
On Ballmer’s payroll tonight.
Murray is becoming quite the player.
Keegan is all grows up.
Good game.
Kings simply dominant.
Davion has been fantastic tonight!
What a way to close out the quarter. Do not relax to start the 4th now.
Dubs up on the Mavs by several points with six mins left.
More and more, I see Davion and Keon pulling crafty mid-range moves that look suspiciously like Fox moves. If so, it’s good to see them absorbing those tactics.
Teams will be asking about both of them thinking Kings are Kings of yesteryear, and they can be stolen in the dark of night.
Bluejohn,
…for you….4th shot of Hopium. Four dead soldiers on the bar.
I’m just slightly worried about you friend.
You’re a Texan right?………Shit……no worries
Pretty much a Texan, I got here as quick as I could around 28 yo.
#4 done yet?
Great game. Wonderful to see the Kings playing with such confidence and composure
good time out. seemed like there was a collective heat check there. gotta close it out now.
10 more points
nice cut by Lyles
Davion with the two foot pass that could not be defended.
wonderful to watch.
No Harden or George? Giving up?
They know they’re cooked.
Another weird little 3-forward lineup with Keegan at the 2. I don’t hate it.
Trey for MB3. Mcgeniused
Domas needs one assist for a triple double, but that was not the pass to get it.
Domas!!!
Aw man, no Domas triple double
One rebound from a double double-double
Great win. Much needed before that brutal four game road trip, especially the first two games against New York and Boston.
Westbrook was our sixth man tonight.
Remember that one time he chucked it out of bounds on a SLOB play to win the game?
I was there for that one. Total DGAF move.
I forget that Russell is still around. Dude’s been in the league for a long time.
How many offensive boards did we grab in the 4th? Clips look like they flat out got lazy.
Damn good win. LTB!
LTB!
Alex Len was on fire today defensively. Hope we get see more of that in these last handful of games.
Great job, Kings. Proud of you guys tonight.
He has been untethered from all his tentativeness since right after the All Star break. He looks like a point guard that has been able to drive to the bucket, selectively shoot open 3’s and his passing has been amazingly crisp and has taken advantage of small seams in the opponents D.
It is like a different player is playing with confidence and assertiveness. Really fun to watch him.
5th shot of “Hopium” not needed. Held in reserve for the Knicks and The Brunson.
Wise….very wise
Back in 7th ahead of the Suns and only 1 game behind the Mavs and Pels!
Suns ahead of Pels 52-35 with 7 mins left in the 2d period.
I think that was yesterday’s game. That 4th “Hopium” seems to have kicked in!
Jokes on me JMan, I been sitting here watching this game on DirecTv trying to figure out the standings after four “Hopiums”. Sure enough the “INFO” button says Booker scored 52 points on April Fools day.
Glad you’re at home. Sleep well tonight!????
Yep, 5 seed not out of reach. First round matchup with this same Clippers team. I’ll take that.
In my mind, the most impressive thing about this game is the Kings could have struck the tent and broke camp. Many teams would. We watched one do that tonight. It wasn’t the Kings.
They are going to fight until someone rings the bell. Good on them.
Kings missed 30 3s and still won by 14. Amazing what hard nosed D will do for you.
4-3 finish or better almost certainly gets a top 8 seed.
3-4 finish means there’s a good chance they have to win 2 play in games to advance.
Tough schedule upcoming, going to be interesting.
if I had to bet, I’d bet on a 3-4 finish. But this team is nearly impossible to predict so anything is possible.
I think we’ve locked up the tiebreaker against either LAL or GSW, right? So even if the Kings go 3-4, I think the Lakers would need to go 6-1 and the Warriors 7-0 respectively for either to beat us out for the 8 seed?
Defense and rebounding wins the game.
Fantastic victory!
