Kings outhustling the Wolves early. Winning 50-50 balls, moving well off ball, and knocking down open 3s.
Stay aggressive HB
Really need our second unit to deliver. So far so good
Energy!
3 > 2
I don’t have any gripes about his game, but there’s just something about Ant’s vibes that make me desperately want to see him get posterized by Malik
Screams at the ref and immediately gets a bailout call. I now have a gripe with his game.
That’s the second time a soft foul wasn’t called until Ant demanded it
Hard to believe Domas wasn’t fouled a couple times.
meanwhile, the Wolves getting late whristle again and again
All hail the new overlords of the West
Davion’s offense never was that great, but he has regressed this year.
Davions is only useful, when facing Garland……..
Our doomers must be confused by the score after assuming this game would be a loss before the Kings’ last game had even finished.
Any team can beat any other team, of course, and the Wolves are not big favorites in this one.
Ant is gunning for a T.
Fox has been shooting short so far tonight. Let see how his second stent looks.
Get up get up get and get down
Kings are tough to beat when the microwave is working.
Monk 11 points in first four minutes.
FOX FORCE 5
Wolves’ radio team:
“Sacramento just looks quicker, a half-second faster.”
Wolves’ radio team after another three:
“Automatic.”
The 3 is falling, also the team is more concentrated…more disciplined
Our shooting is off the charts.
Wow Kings making this Wolves team look slow and foolish. This would be an even bigger lead if the refs weren’t giving fouls to the Wolves when they ask for them.
Brown drawing up a play in the huddle.
Brown: 3>2.
Team: Got it, coach.
Wolves’ broadcast team:
“Wolves just getting punked on their home court.”
Fox needs to up his scoring as the half closes out but he’s not in…
Strangely enough, Minnesota’s goofy-ass court colors make it easy to follow the ball.
One of the least obnoxious color schemes I’ve seen.
These refs stink.
Ant getting superstar call, Fox none
Refs getting called out for being shit.
Both teams playing physically but only Minnesota is getting sent to the line
Fox is irritated and playing out of control. Gets a T, turns the ball over, commits a frustration foul, and has been taking (and fortunately making) ill advised 3s.
So Edwards has over 5 times more FT attempts than the Kings?
hard to believe the Kings actually committed that many more shooting fouls
Time to calm down, and extend the lead in 2nd half
Hmmmm. Sure are a lot of close in-season tournament games. Has nothing to do with officiating of course…
Dogshit officiating yet again. Refs have felt particularly terrible this season.
Refs have been terrible for every season…
It’s frustrating when they don’t call the game the same way for each opposing team.
Edwards traveled too.
More threes, Fox.
KAT was just plain out of control.
Hes got the right jersey on tho
That was good defensive positioning by Fox
GOOD …!!!
Is refs are great!
Lyles and Monk in, two of our best clutch players.
Edwards also provide some clutch defense
And right on cue, Trey with the trey.
Great block by Ant.
Davion clutch x2
Surprise by Davion being aggressive, and shoot the ball with confidence
Davion forces the turnover.
That was the easiest and-one for Fox since freshman year of high school.
The Wolves have raised the physicality bar high against Fox. They are grabbing, pushing, poking, bumping him on offense se and defense on both ends of the court and scant few fouls have been called.
my superstars are better than your superstars
Kings defense allowed 15 points in the third quarter.
Beating a dead horse here, but to hear the NBA Twitter account tell it, Edwards is completely dominant and the Wolves are up by 20
Link?
vs
What the Fxxk..
All Wolves highlights
Nothing since, by the way
3 seconds in the key. Good to see that is still called on offense.
Push this back up to 20 with 8:00 to go and I’ll breathe easier.
Wolves getting stomped on their home floor. This has been mostly stress-free entertainment.
It’s nice to be up a lot 🙂
Trading misses while the clock ticks. I’ll take it.
Good, and we grabbed some off. rebound, and burn more times
It is nice to have Trey back. So steady and reliable under pressure.
Imagine Keegan, Len, and Keon back.
Naval with some quality minutes. Gotta give him props when he earns it
Javale
Lol
Kessler has had a pretty decent game on d and o tonight.
Is Rudy Gobert one of the most hated players in the NBA by other players, including teammates?
How many free throws would make Anthony Edwards stop whining?
These days it seems less like superstar players get foul calls, and more like foul calls create superstar players. Give me 15+ FTs per night and I bet even Id put up double digits!
KAT is such a weird player… I swear half the time especially on defense I don’t know why he is where he’s at.
He doesn’t play defense.
He does not like being out in the perimeter. Just wants to jump for blocks and grab rebounds in the paint. Take him to the arc and he just stands completely upright as you run past.
Good time out. Settle your guys down and make a run to the finish
What is the free throw count now, 25 for Wolves and 6 for Kings. Geez.
KAT collecting garbage time points.
Monk flop ????????????
Gobert just hitting people now. Doesn’t that call for review?
Kessler has had some impressive possessions on Ant. He’s been looking more like a rotation player recently. I thought I’d seen enough with him after he got cooked in the preseason.
KAT saw his stats and decided it was time to eat.
Wolves’ commentating crew:
“This has been a masterful performance by De’Aaron Fox.”
Best win of the season! No Keegan, tough Wolves team with physicality and length, 6th straight game on the road. And yet, Kings took the lead and never gave it back. Had an answer for every Minnesota question. Really good effort. Light the Beam!
Winning road trip and a high chance at a spot in the tournament. Good things all over.
Never seen anyone go to the line as much as Edward’s and still bitch to the officials so much.
Luka maybe, maybe not. But it’s close. I am surprised the refs let either of them get away with it without calling a tech.
The NBA is full of whiners.
I am shocked how much the refs let it happen. But, you are correct.
Like they are trying to do something about flopping, next season the league needs address the whining. A quick T early in the game to set the tone.
Light the beam!!!!!!
LTB baby!
4-2 road trip, Kings can play with anyone. Keegan is missed. So, for the length and brute force, is Len.
Four and two on the road. Very impressive!
so close to a 5-1 road trip…but Zion is just a breat…
Really nice job by K. Edwards, he plays better defense than Duarte, and Edwards is not afraid to shoot the ball, and Edwards is fighting hard for off. rebound, I think he can sub into starting lineup, and pull Duarte out…
The scoreboard showed Sabonis had 3 blks………….?
I just cannot recall even 1 block…
HB played a heck of a game on both ends of the floor!
I really like HB opt to drive into the lane for a greater shots, rather than just shoot the 3…
He is poised
There must be a metric for players whining to the refs as they walk to the free-throw line. My guess is Edwards is at the top of the league.
Harrison Barnes had nice games BtB while Keegan is out. Big rebounds, good iso play down low and good scoring, going for 18 tonight and 22 against the Pelicans in second game against them.
Kings bench outscored the Woves bench almost 2-1.
