I had to pick the Pels tonight. SEGABABA on the road and missing some players is a tall order no matter the team.
Tough task. I think the Kings are ready for it. They have Huerter back, so that helps with the depth.
The floor is very squeaky tonight
Another slow start. They got to stop doing this.
I personally can’t imagine having to play a full professional basketball game, immediately get onto a plane to a new city, check into a new hotel, and then play another pro basketball game 21.5 hours since your last game. The physical toll must be crazy.
And yet, they look okay!
These guys all played crazy minutes during AAU days. My daughter would play six games in two days. And no professional trainers to assist
Curl to rim on the left side. That is the Pelicans offense right not.
I have a feeling we’re going to see a lot of the 3rd string tonight. They’re looking too tired to keep this game competitive.
Depth is showing up for the Kings. They are deep.
Is it me, or does the Kings rim make a weird rattling sound?
This team is really resilient.
Man, SEGABABA and the Kings win the first quarter after a slow start. If they go 6-0 on this road trip I’m going to start to think they may never lose again…
Withstood the storm and came back on our defense. Now keep pushing. Need to really capitalize against NO second unit.
Please no Point Javale
Monk has been shooting the cover off the ball recently
Could Neemias Queta really not have taken JaVale’s job? It’s possible he’d have been less effective, but that’s pretty dang ineffective…
Maybe make Zion go to the right, or stop him getting to the left side of the court?
Malik is crazy, man
(Obligatory “‘Malik’ means ‘king’ in Arabic”)
I hope Keon recovers quickly. Davion makes us play 4 on 5 on both sides of the ball.
having himself an “off night”.
That nickname has completely flipped from college to the pros.
ESPN highlight reel for Malik on that incredible save and a 3 by Heurter. What. A. Play.
What a save!!
Momentum change from the 3 foul calls on 3 consecutive possessions.
I know it’s a SEGABABA, but man this game is hard to watch. No energy, no driving the paint, plodding D.
HB is the go to guy when the offense sputters. Drives and gets a foul.
He is an excellent iso player.
This may be a 20pt game at the half.
Pelicans just run the same play, and the Kings are not doing a good job of adjusting.
Meanwhile, the Kings continue to shoot wild threes without a care in the world
Somebody needs to step up and hammer Zion when he’s attempting those cakewalk layups.
There has to be a better way to stop Zion.
Attempting to defend him would certainly be a good start.
They could make him work more on Defense. That should tire him out quickly.
This might be a little too much to overcome tonight all things considered.
They’d definitely better come out ready on Wednesday, as lack of rest won’t be an excuse then.
Give these boys some Red Bulls and come out flying in the 3rd
Damn this game feels beyond over.
God they’re calling everything on Sabonis.
hand on Jonas, but Domas didn’t push at all. bad call.
Welp, this is probably going the way I think it’s heading.
This game was over in the first. 9 points for Fox? They’re just taking this game off. Kings didn’t even show up.
Bench time
Just call it garbage time now.
Empty the bench to start the 4th.
Empty the bench. Kings are giving them open shots. Fox responds to player of the week award with this bs play?
Hopefully he’s not reading his own press.
They have them right where they want them. Way ahead and overconfident.
Let’s Go Kings.
Kings have been sloppy all night. Not taking care of the ball, lazy passes. Tired legs or not, you can still pass the ball well and secure it.
Only way to save this win streak is for someone to pull the fire alarm in the arena.
Feels like those Houston games. This is embarassing.
Oh dear, this doesn’t sound good.
My guess is they know there’s no reason to bring them back.
Anything back related always scares me.
Let’s continue to leave Ingram open. Great idea.
Keegan was plowed over in the game in Dallas in the lane. Hope it is just tightness and BTB is correct.
Hey at least the win streak was good
While this is clearly disappointing, we have to keep in mind that a 77 win season will still be pretty ok.
What a frustrating blowout. This isn’t how great teams perform on any night.
ZERO assists for Fox is absolutely unacceptable.
Domas afraid of getting in to the paint tonight.
They all seem to be. Meanwhile they’re 10-36 from 3pt, and counting. Terrible game management.
Yeah the Pels offense is clicking. This is exactly what cam happen when you let a team get hot in the first quarter.
When the 3 ball ain’t dropping, need to get to the rim. They have not done that tonight.
Cody Zeller looking like an all-nba player tonight.
Get a fu%$#/ing assist Fox! JFC.
Dallas wasn’t anywhere near this awful on their second game. This team has a ton of work to do, in order to prove they belong in that upper tier.
Exactly. Great teams don’t do this. There’s not any other way to spin it. Our star point has 0 assists in 28 minutes of play.
They seem afraid of facing resistance in the paint this season. They’ll drive on teams with weak interiors, but against a mediocre or better team they avoid it like the plague. Even if they can’t hit 3s.
That’s not a winning basketball mentality.
Petrusev sighting.
Shrug and move on. This happens to every team every year, regardless of caliber.
Yep. Win 1 of the next 2 and call it a great road trip.
The bs excuses the Kayte and Kyle are coming up with are pretty impressive.
O and D ratings gonna tank after tonight. Time to watch Taylor Swift’s boyfriend play football.
