Hoping for the best but expecting the worst with this one. I’d like to see Davion have a good game on both ends, and for Murray to score 20+ points as the #1 option.
Anyone else’s NBA league pass shitting the bed?
aplumley, I had to reset my router and it’s working better now.
How many moving picks will the Dubs get away with tonight?
This game is already over.
About as bad of a first 2.5 minutes as I could’ve imagined!
Ooph the defense is a disaster early on.
Domas has to work on that one foot shot.
Kings doing well in drawing fouls and getting to the line
Kings have missed several layups
Need to get Keeg going.
Ugh these turnovers man….
Really appreciate Sasha’s rebounding
j,
it’s really eye opening how excellent the small details of his game play well in the NBA. His disruption in the passing game is not something I read anything about in the off-season and the rebounding positioning is really good. Good for the Kings and Sasha.
Great finish to the 1st! Loving what I’m seeing from Colby Jones
I stand corrected! ????????????????????
I thought the same thing..
I guess the games not over!
Monk and Jones…. looking very good
So happy to see Colby Jones do well in his first game.
We see you Colby Jones.
How do you miss that kickball?
Anyone else having a hard time distinguishing Duarte from Colby apart from their jersey numbers?
I love the Kings bench….and this is with Lyles still out
I’m thinking the same thing. There are some gems on this bench
Colby! Nice charge drawing!
Jones playing like a savvy vet out here. Duarte meanwhile…..love the defense but that’s enough dribbling for you on offense
Damn, think that’ll get overturned after review. Still love the effort
Iffy call, good chance it gets overturned…and if not, we deserve some calls our way for once!
Davion making plays!
Off Night pass oh my!
Some good sequences with guys that haven’t played much together. I love the aggressiveness.
Steph with the Curry begging move…
Why isn’t that called a flop?
Bad officiating. He rolled with no one within a foot.
Justice was served on the W possession when Domas set back to back left to right and then right to left screens on Steph and then took the pass on a give and go but missed the close in shot by Domas. Everything but the finish….
I’m liking Keegan guarding Curry. Length.
Keegan’s defense so much better this season
His rookie year I was worried he’d be too slow for wings and too small for forwards. Dude looks like he can handle either only one year later.
Our second unit is better than your second unit.
Keegan really struggling shooting the ball rn
Hopefully he heats up in the 2nd half. Gonna need him and others to pick up the scoring slack with Fox out
He’s also the guy tasked with matching up to Curry.
Looking at the box score, looks like Keegs is having a rough shooting night but Off Night is shooting pretty well.
Keegs is locking up Steph in a way that I would have barely believed going into this. His shooting has been hideous, but I’m fine leaving him out there with this kind of defense
Domas with the very pretty turn around form.
Davion draws the charge!
I get that Coach Brown wants Keegan to keep shooting, but man, he needs to be finding some other looks at this point
Good half. Defense has picked it up after they started slow the first 4-5 minutes. Keegan going through it with his offense right now but he’s not letting it affect his defense.
Davion is lowkey chasing a 5×5 tonight
Score is lookin’ good so far considering we’re missing Fox. Hoping that we can pull through and get the W.
Huerter’s defense has been really solid
Warriors back to being a dominating 3rd quarter team. Kings gotta be ready for that run
Good start for the Kings on this regard I’d say!
Keegan cooked Klay there!
Moments like that really make you wonder what year 26 is gonna look like for him
Now we are going to watch Steph, a great shooter, grabbing and pushing to get separation against Keegan this half.
Damn Keegs
Harrison at 12 if he gets to 15 points…. Kings win.
How come I don’t hear Keegan chants?
Glad MB didn’t challenge but that was bullcrap
Curry flopped on his shot are they calling that this year?
Is the ball sweaty? Lots of fumbling tonight from both teams.
Warriors picking up their defensive intensity right now
That I would challenge
I think I saw Monk… who was set….. kind of present the ball to the defender to get the swipe so he could grab and continue his dribble.
Nice rebound by Colby Jones
What a fun game to watch.
OMG MCGEE!
As we’ve seen, Davion plays better the longer he plays.
. . . Edit to add: McGee!
He’s gonna give me an ulcer by the end of the year tbh
What the fuck Javale
Colby Jones is pretty freakin awesome
A second round rookie that doesn’t look out of place on an NBA court is a pretty rare thing. Not going to crown his ass quite yet but it is looking damn promising
McGee and Jones having a block party.
Starting the fourth:
Seven players have scored at least six points.
No players have scored more than 13 points.
This is the best teamwork I’ve seen from the Kings in a long while.
Yep, everybody contributing something, playing team ball. Awesome to see. And lovin’ what I’m seeing from Colby. I hope we get to see more of him as the season goes on.
One more quarter to go, come on guys!!!!
I like the physicality.
only 18 points for W’s in 3rd qtr.
Think that’s enough of Duarte for the night. 3 quick team fouls already in the 4th for the Kings with Duarte accounting for 2 of them.
Definitely getting a McGee jersey, he’s so good to watch
How the F is that a foul on Monk who had position. Shit.
Warriors regaining the lead with STeph on the bench isn’t ideal
Domas has missed like six free throws.
5/10. Yuck
That’s Shaqish
Domas needs to fix his freebies
These missed free throws are going to kill us.
The Kings will begin to feel Fox’s absence in crunch time, but they’ve played much better than I expected. They can steal this one.
Lol Huerter fouled and no call
Huerter, Domas, Keegan, Barnes…no fouls…
Refs are derelict… Keep playing hard.
I hope Keegan takes over the end of this game.
Never mind, with the Warriors small ball lineup, Domas is going to feast.
Draymond fouled Domas twice, on the rebound and on the attempted shot
FWIW, Domas would miss the free throws
Until he doesn’t miss them.
Hey refs, the Dubs are already really good. They don’t need your help.
The warriors have never committed a foul.
Jesus Christ, refs, come on.
Obvious fouls right in front of the refs and the no calls. I can see which way the NBA is trying to swing this game. Pretty pathetic.
No Fox for situations like this is bad enough as it is, don’t also need the refs to start allowing the Warriors to get away with any and all mugging out here
The faster the game goes the faster the refs let the Warriors do whatever they want.
Can’t let Steph get that wide open. Got fortunate there
Come on guys, make your free throws. Warriors in the penalty.
The Kings are better than last year.
Huerter!!!
Come on Domas, make your freebies.
Draymond with the foul when it really mattered hahahahaha
Clutch
Oh my God, my heart is pounding and this is only the 4th game of the season.
Has to be Keegan…
DOMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fucking hell.
Well shit
Fucking Warriors
Nothing you can do about that. Oh well
HB should’ve gotten that 1 point.
So close, and yet…
len, mcgee, and sabonis to the rim…
So we get our hearts ripped out in Golden State again. Ugh.
Hell of a game.
Sucks to keep losing to this team but can’t be mad at how the team looked tonight missing their best player. Klay just hit a tough shot at the buzzer
Not a bad outcome considering we didn’t have Fox. Obviously going to hear this one from Warriors trolls who are just about as bad as Lakers trolls. Very winnable next few games, all things considered.
Missed free throws are like walks in baseball, they always seem to bite you in the ass.
What’s baseball?
Damn it. Really wanted that one. We had it. Missed too many FTs. That said, heck of an effort.
Sick to my stomach. No Fox. Sasha and Keegan go 0-10 from 3 and lose on a buzzer beater. We’re better than this. No moral victory. This sucks. This team should never let down. Win the next 5…I mean 6. L the Fakers.
Loved the game. King’s played great. King’s have to play better than the Warriors and the refs. Great job.
Need to take their frustration out on the Rockets and come home 4-2.
At least our next two games are against the Rockets. Even without Fox, no excuses to lose those ones.
Too many missed FTs by the Kings again but it didn’t really matter due to the officiating.
I hate to say this as I don’t like excuses but it’s gotten to the point where the NBA doesn’t even care if it’s the official’s who make the difference in games against the likes of GSW, LAL, LAC, BOS, and PHI. The bias is obvious and statistically proven by the NBA itself with last year’s analysis of the last 2min report after Lakers officially complained they were being screwed while the exact opposite was proven as the LAL were the main beneficiaries (along with the other teams listed) of referee bias. The officials swallow their whistles on blatant fouls while at the same time giving them the benefit of the doubt on every 50/50 call while calling ticky-tak fouls against the opposing team and punishing them on every 50/50 call.
The Kings will be fine as they continue to grow together throughout the season, but as the saying goes, if they want to beat the NBA’s marquee teams they need to win by 15 to win by 1.
