Grade the Kings draft

Weigh in on how the Kings did
By | 0 Comments | Jun 23, 2017

The Sacramento Kings had high hopes entering Thursdays NBA Draft, and were under pressure to get this draft right. When the dust settled the Kings got their man with the 5th pick, selecting De’Aaron Fox from Kentucky. The Kings then flipped the 10th pick to the Portland Trail Blazers for picks 15 and 20, using those picks to select Justin Jackson and Harry Giles. The Kings finished their night with the 34th pick, selecting another fan favorite in Frank Mason. By most accounts, it was a successful night for the Kings.

But around here we care about what the fans think, not just the so-called experts. So let’s put this to a poll. How would you grade the Kings?

Personally, I give the Kings a low A. I think they got good value for their picks, and I think the picks will fit well with the roster. I think the only question mark is whether they got the best players available at each pick. It’s debateable, and it’s a question we won’t truly know the answer to for several years. But weigh in below, let’s hear what you think.
