Just over a week away from the 2013 NBA Draft, mock drafts continue to chime in with their predictions. This year, more than most, it feels a lot more like guess work than any actual certainty, and this is especially the case in Chad Ford's latest Mock Draft (Insider Only).
Ford has the Kings selecting Michael Carter-Williams with Trey Burke still on the board, but notes that there isn't much of a read on how Sacramento will pick considering just how new everyone is to the organization. Incoming GM Pete D'Alessandro was hired just this past weekend and is just getting up to speed.
Ford's pick of Carter-Williams for the Kings lies in the fact that D'Alessandro is known as being very good with analytics. Shabazz Muhammad looks terrible from an analytic standpoint, while Carter-Williams is the opposite.
DraftExpress also updated their mock draft but have yet to budge from their prediction of Trey Burke with the 7th pick.

SB Nation is also holding their own blogger mock draft as well, complete with trades and everything. You can check out the storystream here. The mock will update with roughly 6 picks a day. There have already been a few trades, including the Kings as TZ traded the 7th pick for the 11th and 25th picks. Funnily enough, he chose Michael Carter-Williams with the 11th pick. Stay tuned in the coming days to see who I choose at 25.
