As usual, the best part about another miserable Kings season is commiserating with our fellow fans. So why not do it in person!
Once again, O'Mally's Irish Pub will be hosting Sactown Royalty night this April 2nd when the Kings take on Michael Malone's Denver Nuggets in Denver. O'Mally's, which was founded and still run by commenter HumboldtCPA's parents, is located in Old Sacramento and is just a short walk from the new arena, so that's something to keep in mind for the future.
They will be opening up their downstairs bar exclusively for Sactown Royalty. We will be able to watch the game on a 120" HD screen so big you'll feel like you can step in on help defense when a Kings player inevitably loses their man.
The downstairs also features a mini-bar, four other TVs and a pool table. There will be Sactown Royalty drink specials, including a small discount on Crown Royal shots and a special drink called the Royal-T, which is a play off the classic Long Island Ice Tea.
O'Mally's also serves great food. You have to try to Irish Tacos. The game starts at 6 but feel free to come as early as you want. If you are planning on coming, let us know in the comments below so we can get a preliminary head count. We had a great time the last time we had an StR night here, so I hope to see even more of you this time
