The Sacramento Kings announced Friday that guard Bogdan Bogdanovic will undergo a minor procedure to repair what the team is calling a minor knee injury. Bogdanovich left the Serbian national team’s game against Estonia after suffering discomfort in his knee, and the injury was found after further examination. The Kings have not yet announced to have a timetable for his return to action, but it’s probably safe to say he’s going to be out for several weeks.
Bogdanovich had a procedure done on the same knee at the beginning of summer, but was well past the stated time table for return before starting to play for the Serbian national team.
This is a huge disappointment for the Kings going into training camp without one of their better players from last season, and Kings fans can only hope that Bogdan is able to return to action sooner rather than later.
