So let me get this straight: the Sacramento Kings have lost six straight games with their two most recent opponents beating them after having lost a combined 20 straight games and with each missing their star centers. Sacramento’s players are uninspired, their game plan is non-existent and all official reasoning for the downward spiral can be taken as mostly nonsensical. And now, the Kings are tasked with going into the Mile High City on the second game of a back to back and third in four nights to take on a Denver Nuggets squad that sports the second best defensive rating in the NBA and holds teams to the lowest ppg in the league… And with only three month’s before getting fired from a gig that pays me less than three bucks an hour, you want me to find a way TO WRITE ABOUT THIS?! ARE. YOU. GODDAMN. FUC- Let’s talk about [he puts the team name here] basketball!

VOX and Fox, Both Great!: My apologies all for my outburst up there, valued SBNation comment section friends and readers! We all know how I, W. Griffith, well compensated writer for SBNation’s Sactown Royalty likes to make jokes! I guess the truth is, the holidays can be stressful for anyone and man, spending time with my loved ones must have put quite a stress on me. My Twitter page mentions I like to drink ethanol, I guess it might have been a nice glass of that that sent me over the edge. I’m better now though and ready to resume discussing our favorite basketball team, the Sacramento Kings. As I was telling my mailbag partner Tom, aka The Baby Giraffe, the Kings are a good team and have a good shot at winning the game tonight against an also good team, the very good Denver Nuggets. Their coach is Mike Melon, former coach of the Sacramento Kings. Wonder if there’s any tough feelings there as he was fired by Kings owner Vivek Ranadive in 2014! What do you think Kings fans? Join the conversation and let me, Thomas Ziller and Achey know in the comments what you think! Recommend the best comment by clicking the “Rec” button!
The two players to watch tonight are De’Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley. De’Aaron Fox, the fifth pick in the 2017 draft from Kentucky, had a breakout year last year, averaging 17.3 points and 7.3 assists per game. Marvin Bagley, the 37th pick in the 2015 NBA draft, is having a breakout season since coming over from the Phoenix Suns and might even be one of the top 10 most improved players on the season! What a great underdog story! You know who else is a good player? Nikolaj Jokic, the center for the Nuggets. Watch out for him, he can put on a show and always makes his tough team even better! You know who else has a tough team? SBNation! We are always hard at work to improve our site, leave a comment down below if you think we’re doing a good job providing you with the best Sacrament Kings coverage. On a personal note, I love working for Vox, especially considering my friends (the entire Sactown Royalty team) live in that California sunshine! Getting to watch the Sacramento Kings is better than a full time job or healthy care! I was just telling long time SBNation Twitter account holder and former NBA center Kevin Fippin that I enjoy driving down Watt Ave. before heading down to Folsom Lake. Sacramento is great! Well, I guess that’s all I have to say for today. Thanks again for reading my previews SBNation readers and don’t forget to share this on your social media pages to spread the word about the great job we’re all doing here!
Prediction
As always, I predict a Kings win! I, W. Griffith, always predict wins, even if the Kings are playing difficult opponents.
