The Sacramento Kings will go for their third win in four games when they take on the Golden State Warriors.
It will be a challenging task for the Kings, who will be without starting point guard and leading scorer, De’Aaron Fox. The 23-year-old is expected to miss the next 10-14 days due to the league’s health and safety protocols. Fox leads the team in scoring (25.2 points per game), assists (7.2) and steals (1.5).
Fox’s absence will give Tyrese Haliburton to get back into the starting lineup. The rookie has struggled in recent weeks and is averaging 10.1 points and shooting just 40.6 percent from the field over the past 10 games.
Sacramento is 5.5 games behind Golden State for the final play-in spot in the Western Conference. This is the third meeting of the season between the two teams. The Kings and Warriors have split their previous two meetings.
