Isiah Thomas wants to enter the Mike Bibby sweepstakes? Who am I to argue?

It makes no sense to add a poor defending, high salary offensive player to that catastrophe. But if Bibby's the man who unlocks David Lee's shackles, so be it.

I can't come up with any two-team trade that's sane, unless Geoff Petrie decides packaging both Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Kenny Thomas with Bibby to get Lee and Stephon Marbury's fat 2009 expiring contract (with Fred Jones to fill it out) is a good idea. It would bring the full rebuild to a head sometime around the next trade deadline, were it to occur, speeding things up by one year. I assume there are better deals out there.
