Sactown Royalty Draft Extravaganza 2017: The Field

The field is set for tonight's Sactown Royalty Draft Contest. You’ve toiled. You’ve studied. You’ve watched miles of tape. You have argued your case vigorously in the threads. Or if you’re like me, you pulled fourteen players out of your buttocks. Let’s take a look -

Giving each player 14 points for a 1st place vote, 13 points for a 2nd place vote, 12 points for a 3rd place vote, etc., Markelle Fultz swept away with the 1st pick with a first-ever perfect score of 14, bettering Ben Simmons and his 13.96 from a year ago. Lonzo Ball was a distant 2nd at 12.87. Josh Jackson was a clear-cut choice for 3rd, and Jason Tatum barely edged out De’Aaron Fox for 4th. Jonathan Isaac was a distant 6th, and there was a ton of space between Isaac and Malik Monk and Dennis Smith, who were tightly bunched for 7th & 8th. Lauri Markkanen edged out Frank Ntilikina for 9th. Justin Jackson finished 15th.

A reminder of the rules:

Best of luck to all of you. But most of all, best of luck to your Sacramento Kings.
