As we wind down another Sacramento Kings season, we’re forced to again reflect on the Kings’ seemingly-endless playoff drought. This year marks 11 years since the Kings last saw the playoffs, the second longest streak in the league. Only the Minnesota Timberwolves have a longer streak. What has changed since May of 2006? I’m glad you asked.

In short, it’s been a really long time since the Kings saw the playoffs.
