The game started, for the 17th time this season, with a double digit deficit in the first quarter. The team looked lost on both ends, and unable to perform even basic tasks on either end. After a miniature run in the second quarter, the Kings cut into the lead, only to get it back to where it started before making one final push for victory. I swear to you, I did not copy and paste this summary from any other games. This is the summary of the game.
RANDOM NOTES
-Two important birthdays in Kings land today: Slamson and Bobby Jackson. Slamson had his friends from around the league come visit him for his birthday festivities. Happy birthday to them both!
-We are reaching that point at Sleep Train Arena where it is getting surreal knowing that my remaining visits there, if any, can be counted on two hands.
-After the game, the fun times continued as DeMarcus Cousins stated that he was not suspended by the organization, but by the coach. Also said that Karl had not talked to him since the outburst (according to Jason Jones).
-The Kings are only 7 1/2 games out of the playoffs.
-The Kings head down to Los Angeles to face the Kobe Bryant one last time before he's sent to the glue factory.
