Kings win in Denver and I don’t know what to do with my hands

By | 0 Comments | Mar 2, 2019

Kings win! Kings win!

I can't remember the last time I was this happy to start a Kings season. This has easily been the best start for the Kings since the days of Rick Adelman. The last 3-1 start came in 2010-11 but the Kings got wins against the dregs of the league in Cleveland, Toronto and Minnesota. These wins have come against the Blazers, Clippers and Nuggets, with two of them on the road no less!

This was a total team effort. For the first time this season, Sacramento's bench stepped up as the starters got some extended rest after big minutes in L.A. on Saturday. Yet it was again Darren Collison or "Collison the Consistent", as he's been dubbed by Doug Christie, that was able to lead the way for Sacramento. Collison finished with a game-high 21 points and was a major factor in holding Ty Lawson to just 1-8 from the field.

Omer will have your full recap up later. But for now Kings fans, celebrate like it's 2004 and the Kings are good again, because we're 3-1!
