The Kings are back in Sacramento on Tuesday to take on the league's No. 1 team, the Spurs. The game's scheduled for 7 p.m. Pacific on Comcast SportsNet California and 1140 AM. The Kings have won two straight at home, both with excellent crowds. The crowd for Tuesday's game is expected to be good, but tickets are indeed available. I'd encourage you to attend and chant if you can.
After Tuesday's match, the Kings are headed back out on the road for five games beginning Thursday in Atlanta. Sacramento is 5-23 on the road this season and 14-12 at home. The Kings sit in the No. 14 spot in the West at 19-35 overall; only Phoenix (17-36) is worse. The Kings are the league's sixth worst team by record.
The Spurs, as I said, have the league's best record and pole position on the West's No. 1 seed. Tony Parker has been incredible this season, and Kawhi Leonard is a real difference-maker. And of course Tim Duncan is Tim Duncan. This team is just a wonder. The whole franchise from 1998 through whenever the run ends should be elected to the Hall of Fame.
