Kings almost traded for Jeremy Tyler and cash, according to report

The Kings almost made a second deadline deal, one that would have brought Jeremy Tyler and cash to town.

Simmons reports that the Warriors would have paid the Kings to take Tyler, because of course. That could why the deal fell through — it has not been reported that Atlanta sent Golden State any cash in their deal. The Warriors also found a home for Jenkins (the Sixers) at the last minute.

Tyler has played very limited minutes over two years despite rampant frontcourt injuries for Golden State. His per-minute numbers are not good, but he is quite young (21) and athletic.
