Missed shots and sloppy mistakes on offense in the first quarter. Otherwise, the defensive end looks pretty good. If the Kings can clean it up, which I suspect they will, I feel pretty good about this game.

Based on the 6 quarters of basketball I have seen, the Kings are a better basketball team than the Warriors. The Warriors just have Steph Curry.

That’s why De’Aaron shooting 3’s is a bit of a double edged sword. He’ll never put the type of pressure on the defense shooting 3’s that he will getting into the lane.

The Kings have to stay focused, they cannot let the refs take them mentally out of the game. This is the nba, this is how it is going to go for the Kings. But they can play though it by not getting frustrated.

Love how Brown brought in Sabonis even though this is typically his rest time. What does Sabonis do? Gets to the open spot, opens a lane for Lyles and manages to get the O Board and to the line.

I thought the first win was nice………this game was on a different level….a physical level and a defensive level at least
Just responding to how many officiating calls went against them and keeping their composure was the biggest part. Forcing so many tough shots was obviously a very good part of that too.
We’re seeing Davion grow up a lot this series. It’s a lot of fun to watch for me.

My Highlights of this game
Davion Mitchell and Domas are co Players of The Game with Davion winning, obviously, the DPOG.
Harrison Barnes was a difference maker on the boards and late in the 4th as the W’s closed the gap. Two excellent short baskets taking advantage of an open lane.
Kevin Heurter kept the Kings in the game early and might have had 30 without the fouls.
This set of referees missed the easiest call in basketball at any level, including church league beer games…..a double dribble. Nothing else need be said.
The team defense save for four minutes in the 4th was excellent.
Having won the DPOG chain Davion also wins the Clutch Shot of the Game. 3 from the corner.
Domas is cut from pure Titanium. Tough. Hard. Resourceful. And, most important of all, a King. I love Hali. Kings made one of the best trades in franchise history obtaining Domas.
He was deserving of high MVP consideration for the season.

Who knows the rules on the restricted area in a charge or blocking foul. If the heels are off the ground and the toes are outside of the restricted area is that a charge or a foul? Domas was on his toes looking at the play again. The heels were not on the court.

He’s getting suspended. It’s a question of how many games. I’m more worried about whether or not Domas is okay at this point. I find it odd they let him stay in the game…..but who knows maybe he was running on adrelaine at that point.
Can’t argue with your instincts on this stuff. You’re usually right. I just don’t think the NBA wants to disadvantage the Warriors. I did see Domas grabbing at his chest after the Curry offensive (defensive, whatever!) foul late in the fourth, so yeah, some concern there.
That might be what caused the X-Ray. Or hell, they just might be doing this out of sheer caution. I’m hoping that’s what it is.

I don’t think Domas did a ton to warrant that tech, but I doubt it’ll be rescinded. But Green’s suspension? I don’t think the NBA cannot afford to do that.

I can’t recall anyone frustrating Curry the way Davion did tonight, an incredible defensive performance, and, of course, vindication for McNair to draft him.
As for the Kings, an impressive, gritty performance. The team fought through everything the Warriors threw at them. I never thought I’d see a Kerr coached Warriors team look like the Bad Boys Pistons, with their Sabonis Rules, and flopping all over the place, but I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.
A lot of important players, and no one is going to stop Curry forever, but Davion’s defense against Curry is just off the charts. It’s right up there with the most important factors with the Kings winning. Maybe the biggest difference maker outside of Fox.
Now a good couple of days rest to refurbish and weld that Machine named Domas. #FuckYouDraymond #LightTheBeam
