Damn Harrison be jumping those passing lanes
Recently moved to the Seattle area. Signed up for League Pass. Currently blacked out of all Blazers games. I’m 3+ hours from Portland.
::Sigh::
At least the Kings only play them 3-4 times a year. I’ll have to live vicariously through y’all for those games.
If you’re using a phone/tablet/laptop, try streameast.live. that’s the site I use. Sometimes it’s laggy and it’s usually a minute behind but for free, it’s the best one I’ve found. And they usually have multiple sources you can try with only one ad to get rid of
You’re seriously my new best friend. Thank you so much!!
Hell yeah! Tell me how it works for you. Also, do not read the chat room. That shit is straight cancer haha
Worked great! And the chat room was a glorious, incoherent mess…lol.
I’m marooned in seattle as well. I just subscribe to Fubo it has California Sports Net and Pac12 networks for college etc. I was able to see every kings game last year.
This defense might not be bad…? It might even be….good?
KZ really changes the defensive dynamics
Davion is also giving Lillard fits
Lillard is just having an off night
Davion will lead this team in DAWG/36 this year. Plays like he’s 6’4″.
To bad Heat didn’t spend a little more time with him. Our gain.
Davion may be too good to keep out of the starting 5
Fox engaged on defense and knocking down 3s oh shit oh shit oh shit
Could Fox be a 3-level scorer?

Lyles and Metu were painful to watch.
Crazy to see the better collection of talent this season. To think we were starting those two last year. SMH
Just thinking the same. Watching Terrence Davis go from someone we were hoping could come in and have an impact when he was first traded to us, to a guy who’s become almost an afterthought, really speaks to the talent upgrade in that locker room over the past 8 months or so.
Great to see TD back on the court. Nice block.
Lyles was alright. I don’t know if Metu will play much but this is only one game and preseason too.
Folks, I think we might have something here.
Keegan’s gonna Keegan.
With the caveat that it’s still WAY too early to get too excited, I’m going to proceed to get way too excited…
Is there such a thing as a “steal of the draft” at #4?
This kid is overflowing with the little things that you just can t teach. I’m still inclined to call him “mini-Duncan”. A little smaller, and a bit more athletic, but that smooth effortlessness, always being in the right place, putting up numbers and impacting the game without being showy or flashy.
Again, I know it’s too soon, but I’m blown away by this kid. Can you imagine what he and Tyrese might have matured into? Wow.
Iowa & Iowa St…. Too much if a rivalry, never could have co-existed on the roster. (that’s the lie I tell myself, anyhow)
Like to see him go to the bucket a little more.
As far as the after-game interview, he was almost a replica of Duncan! I don’t recall Duncan ever going 5-6 from beyond the ark, though. And I don’t think you’ll see Keegan driving to the basket until the other teams start really focusing on not letting him get his 3-pointers off. Then he’ll drive. Or drive and dish, as the play allows. He’s waiting for that to happen, believe me.
Don’t have to drive much when you’re going 5-6 from beyond the arc. He’s a smart enough player though that, on the nights when that 3 isn’t falling, he’s going to impact the game in other ways – and I suspect one of those way will be driving to the basket.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a rookie come into the league without at least one weakness big enough to drive a car through. Yes, there are a few areas where he’s decidedly average, but I just can’t remember the last time I saw a kid walk on to an NBA floor for the first time and just fit right into everything so seamlessly.
Tyrese and Murray would have had the best nickname duo in the league – “Hali Murray”
Why start Lyles? He’s terrible.
This is preseason so coach is trying different combos. A lot better than Metu at this point.
Hi Kings fans! What’s the best site to stream Kings games? Any help is appreciated!
Keegan MurROY
by The kings doing good in preseason, Mike Brown is going to feel like him not starting Murray is a good thing.
Keegan isn’t going to give him that luxury. His play will force the issue.
Which is why Keegan is going to be awesome.
Naw, Keegan will be a starter. He’s too good. Brown just wants him to go earn it. Old school move.
It seems like the coach has a lot of faith in Okpala, too. And LeBron and Lilliard did have crappy nights with him guarding them. So he may be thinking of getting a little lead with Okpala starting and shutting down the top scorer, then bringing a crazy good rookie off the bench to open the game up?
Shut the door and open a window! I love it.
coaching
This KZ guy ain’t too bad
Mike Brown is determined to build himself a new Draymond Green from scratch…perhaps without the emotional control issues.
He won’t start but if you want somebody to give you defense and a great motor he’s your guy. Starting to like the guy a lot. Coach knows what he’s doing when he brought the guy in.
My goodness, even the third unit is playing actual NBA- caliber defense…
Seeing a #24 Kings jersey on the floor is giving me PTSD flashbacks
The team definitely puts more effort into defending. It’s been awhile since I’ve felt this optimistic.
Are the next 2 preseason games on TV?
-Nurkic is big
-Huerter’s stroke is Peja smooth
-Fox can shoot and play defense
-Davion looked comfortable
-Harrison looked aggressive
-Keegan will lead the league in 3P%
Those are big shes to fill. Let’s wait until they have played a dozen or so of regular games.
The amount of lineup versatility is striking. It is easy to see how Brown can throw different looks out there. Put KZ, Davion, Fox, Barnes, and Domas and you have a solid defensive group that can shut down perimeter scorers in spite of not having solid rim protection. Swap Domas and Holmes in that lineup and you kind of have a super switchable lock down crew. Fox, Huerter, Monk, Barnes, and Domas are a pretty solid shooting, cutting, driving crew, even if a bit limited on defense. Switch Monk and Keegan and all of the sudden you have added size and rebounding and a bit of defense.
If KZ and Fox start hitting 3s and don’t allow defenders to go under screens, look out.
If you want more defense then put Ellis in that group.
I want Ellis and Queta starting in Stockton, not spectating in Sacramento.
I came to see Fox hate.. I’m happy to be see none
Keegan can’t possibly be this good of a shooter right? RIGHT?!?!
it sure does look good, confidence is there; I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if he shoots 36-39% his rookie year which would be pretty awesome 3 most 4 combo forward..
Yeah rookies almost never shoot well but his shot just goes in every time. And unlike Summer League, he’s getting wide open looks because the Kings have so many guys to account for.
I do not expect him to shoot 83% from 3. But it sure looks good.
I can’t wait for October 19th. Got tix in lower corner. LETS GOOOOOOO!!!
Looks like the Herald is going the way as the previous site. How come no write up on this game? From the game thread it sounds like we played really well. It’d be nice to actually read a recap of it on here.
