Not making a comment on the game. Just noticed that Kayte is looking somewhat Amazonian…….I don’t know……..I kinda like it.
You have the game on? YTTV has the Sharks on instead of the Kings right now.
Yes Xfinity has it. You are not missing much
That second sentence should be the motto of at least the Sacramento era of the franchise.
Honestly, if there was something else to watch I totally would. Or do. But I’m a boring dumbass so I’m watching the Kings.
I’m so bored with the Kings right now I couldn’t even pay much attention to GMan’s radio call.
I have it on TV but I’m not watching. And if you believe that I never inhaled either.
First quarter Queta?? What is this wizardry?
Neemie has been freed.
Jones hit a 3
D. Jones has it going tonight. Hope some team pays him more than the vet minimum. 3 years for $10 mil seems reasonable.
3 yrs for 10 mil. Are you kidding?
I’m not a huge Jones fan, but I’d be ok with an offer of $3.3M per year.
You think that’s an overpayment?
For a 3rd C, it probably is. But you’d be betting on the fact that he has more room for improvement (especially defensively) and move up in the rotation. Though, at 27 that ship may have sailed.
However, the Kings have to be willing to gamble a little, and this would be a low risk bet.
Jones and Metu are in the same boat IMO. There’s arguments to keep both and move on.
I’m more than ready to move on from Metu. He seems like a nice guy and good teammate, but he should be much closer to the end of the bench than the front of it.
Kings have a team option on Metu for the minimum next year, FWIW.
That’s good news, as long as they don’t exercise it…lol
At this point, I wouldn’t assume anyone but Fox and Sabonis is on the roster opening night next season.
Safe bet, but I’d probably also add Davion to that list. There’s a part of me that thinks Monte would ultimately prefer a roster not bogged down with Fox.
Sure, I see that BTB. But my counter to that is this: Who can generate offense on this team at that level or better?
No, I think he’s going to demand a minimum 5 to 7 mil a year.
He’s not getting that. 3 million might be too high a number for him.
LeBron can make demands, James Harden makes demands. I hope D. Jones gets the biggest bag he can but not one team in the whole Association is going to take his demands seriously. What he wants and what he gets are two different things IMO.
KGDobter, with respect, there are not many teams who have a lot of money to spend this year and my guesstimate is that they are not going to overpay a career back up center whose breakout season on the Kings will likely considered an outlier rather than his norm. There are a lot of back up centers on the market and they can be had for less than $3 mil per.
I think that’s a reasonable number to consider. But…. I’m not in love with him either.
I think there’s going to be lots of roster turnover this summer.
I respect your opinion, but I think a lot of NBA eyes have been opened lately concerning his game.
Guess we’ll find out this summer!
Kings with 23 dimes, Davion has 14 of them
17 assists to 5 turnovers. That’s not a bad night.
This was a key loss for us, considering the Lakers are getting their balls kicked in, in Phoenix
The Kings have been on track for 2 weeks to be the 7th slot in the lottery. As long as they lose to either the Clippers or Suns this weekend, they will end up on the 7th slot.
Lamb making $10.5 mil last year of his contract. He won’t be back
