Now the broadcast team is talking about where we are in relation to making the play-in game….over 4 months before the season ends. Yeesh.
Just a normal empty house tonight. It’s not filled with many Orlando fans.
Or Kings fans!
But at least it won’t be like an away game for the kings on warrior or laker nights.
Let’s go Fox!
Terrance Davis is a superstar in the making
Really?
A lot of little things not going Kings way.
I would trade Buddy for a sack of hot garbage.
Is Buddy Hield still wearing a Kings jerseys?
I’d be trying to trade buddy over to the nets to replace Joe Harris. Try to get Kessler Edwards back, but I don’t see how the money would work. Buddy would be great in several places.
Adam silver is in the house today.
Hopefully to confirm his suspicions that Vivek needs to go.
Bring in TD Hield
Marvin Bagley is born again…basketball speaking.
He’s going to be a star somewhere else next year, isn’t he?
It would be very kings.
You’re probably right. I bet team Bagley would turn down a big contract from the Kings next year.
You think he’d take a one year deal to get out of restricted status?
Nah. Though he could be borderline mediocre somewhere else.
Bags MIP
Buddy already 1-7 from three.
Gentry pulls him for TD. Would Walton have left him in there?
I’d have told him to start walking to Stockton.
OMG, hope Holmes is ok
Yeah, he got poked in the eye once already. I hope it’s precautionary.
How the hell is that at least a flagrant one?
I’m guessing the refs said it was concussion protocol so that Richaun can return to the game later. If he is unable to shoot the free throws himself then he cannot return. The usual only exception is if he is injured because of a flagrant 2. I think the concussion protocol may be an exception to that. Anyone able to correct me on that?
Jeeze. Play some defense already.
A little defense wouldn’t hurt guys.
The issue with trading Buddy. If you not getting back another shooter, Who else on this team shoots the 3 with a decent average. Not many.
It would be a stealth tank move. Trade him, trade Barnes, trade one of the pg triumvirate. Get younger or get picks.
That wouldn’t be very stealthy of a tank. Who would you want in return for Barnes?
Tough. Maybe take Davis bertans bad contract and get rui hachimura out of it? Take Gallo’s bad contract for two first rounders and a second?
Maybe your last scenario, but only if they are blowing it up. The hardest decision they may have by the end of the season is Marvin, and that assumes he continues with the effort and the development under Christie.
Last five games FG: 5-17, 1-7, 2-7, 2-6, 2-13. He kills us. His shot selection effs up everyone else on the floor. He isn’t an “elite” shooter if he’s only elite every five games or so. Am I wrong?

“Terance Davis sucking the D in.” -Draper.
Buddy and a medium protected first for Jonathan Isaac. Would you do that?
A medium protected 1st would get you Isaac.
Davion with a rainbow three…sweet
Buddy just sucks the wind out of this team..
1-10 now from three. Lowest IQ on the team. Just does whatever the hell he wants out there, completely abandoning what the other four guys are doing. He will be a huge addition by subtraction, if Monte ever comes into the office.
Can’t wait.
Bagley looks good, like he’s shaken his tunnel vision that led him to the rim on every touch. He’s giving great effort on the boards. Keep working, kid.
And Fox is playing a very clean, efficient game. Mo Bamba hasn’t slowed him down even a little bit.
A tech for TT? Westbrook does that throughout half of each game!
Fox looks good, he must have lost weight
Yet another game where Sacramento struggles because there are too many centers on the roster.
Gentry calling all the right timeouts, keeping chucker Buddy on the bench, making adjustments, using depth, not just standing there with a dumb, agape face half the game. What a breath of fresh air.
How could you see that Walton was slackjawed when he was wearing a m…
Carry on.
Yeah bro, I saw what you did there…..nice
Haliburton is shooting the absolute ass off of the ball, and double-digit assists. He needs to shoot any open look that he gets.
Cole Anthony is unconscious.
I didn’t think he had that proverbial it last year. He’s been playing amazing this year.
How does ORL score 130?
two words. Cole Anthony.
Stats wise he had a better game than Fox.
Fox’s defense was far better than Anthony’s.
True, and that doesn’t show up in the stats.
Fox’s impact on the game was at an entirely higher level…distribution of the ball, passing, defense, and keeping his teammates involved in the flow of the game. Cole can score. No one else touches the ball when he does. I would have liked Davion covering him on D and earlier than when Gentry switched Davion onto him with about 4:30 left in the game…but that’s a minor point really.
Fuck, we could actually lose this game.
Fox with 33 pts and 1 assist. Just move him to the 2 full time already. Let him guard 2’s. Let Hali and Mitchell run the point.
Practically, what difference does it make? NBA players aren’t boxed into hyper-specific roles anymore.
Haliburton may be the better passer, but Fox has way better handles, and pulls defenders into the paint where he can score or kick.
If it makes you feel any better, Haliburton is a better shooter, so you can still call him a shooting guard if you need to.
Call the positions whatever you want, it matters how you get into the offense. Whether you initiate an intelligent switch by PNR so someone (Fox) can operate, instead of just putting your head down and driving to the basket, while the other four stand around, is a thing.
What an odd thing to pin the blame for people standing around on the only person not standing around.
It’s what happens when one regularly pre-determines they’re going to go tunnelvision 1 v 5. Especially when it’s your supposed max alpha dog.
But you’re putting me in a spot I don’t want to be tonight. I thought Fox played great. He’s getting in better shape, playing harder, shooting better, and deserves credit for that. But I still think he’s a better off guard than lead guard, or whatever you want to call it.
Kenny here. Kenny here.
So is this the part of the season where the Kings win 7 of 8 games?!?!
9 game losing streak incoming.
Gentry isn’t the long-term solution, but I don’t expect he’s going to sit around with his thumb in his ass when a losing streak starts to build.
Agree. He will play the last 5 guys on the bench if he needs to but I can tell you I can see the no thumb up his ass thing. I think Luke got used to it.
No room for his own thumb with VD’s head in there.
Stop it…
Better get to Vegas as fast as you can
Someone needs to do a deep dive into the ad where the sandwich shop owner suggests that if you ordered a certain way in Philadelphia, you might be brutally murdered.
