{"id":20365,"date":"2022-11-03T14:21:35","date_gmt":"2022-11-03T21:21:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kingsherald.com\/?p=20365"},"modified":"2022-11-03T14:35:39","modified_gmt":"2022-11-03T21:35:39","slug":"nbas-report-confirms-tyler-herro-traveled-on-game-winning-shot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kingsherald.com\/latest-news\/nbas-report-confirms-tyler-herro-traveled-on-game-winning-shot\/","title":{"rendered":"NBA&#8217;s report confirms Tyler Herro traveled on game winning shot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Kings franchise and fanbase already has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/boxscores\/200205310LAL.html\">more reason than most<\/a> to dislike the officials and now we can add one more to the list.\u00a0 The NBA <a href=\"https:\/\/official.nba.com\/l2m\/L2MReport.html?gameId=0022200109%0d\">released their official last two minute report<\/a> from last night&#8217;s game and confirmed that Miami&#8217;s Tyler Herro should have been called for a travel on his game-winning shot.\u00a0 Instead, no call was made and the Kings fell to 2-5 on the season.\u00a0 Coach Mike Brown was not pleased and made his case known immediately after the game.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Mike Brown is NOT HAPPY with the officiating in tonight&#39;s game. <\/p>\n<p>He believes Tyler Herro traveled on the game-winning shot \ud83d\ude2c <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/c9IzO5ucug\">pic.twitter.com\/c9IzO5ucug<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Kings on NBCS (@NBCSKings) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NBCSKings\/status\/1587993299415347200?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 3, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Now, there&#8217;s no guarantee that the Kings would have won the game if the play was called correctly. But they would have had a far better chance, either in those last few seconds or in an eventual overtime, but that was taken away from them.\u00a0 I also wouldn&#8217;t be surprised if Coach Brown ends up getting fined for telling the league exactly what was laid out in their own official report.<\/p>\n<p>The NBA just needs to get rid of the Last Two Minute report already.\u00a0 Allegedly it is for &#8220;transparency&#8221;, but all it ends up doing is pouring salt in the wounds of fanbases and teams who end up on the wrong side of the whistle (or lack thereof in this case).
