After leaving Monday&#8217;s game with a sore knee, an MRI has ruled out any major injuries for point guard De&#8217;Aaron Fox. The Athletic&#8217;s Shams Charania reported the details:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Good news: MRI on Kings guard De\u2019Aaron Fox\u2019s right knee showed a bone bruise \u2013 no structural damage, sources tell <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheAthletic?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@TheAthletic<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Stadium?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Stadium<\/a>. Fox will miss Wednesday\u2019s game vs. Heat and his return will be based upon the resolution of symptoms, but there\u2019s hope it could be soon.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShamsCharania\/status\/1587547447026499597?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 1, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s unfortanate that Fox will miss the next game, and possibly more beyond that, but it&#8217;s great news that Fox didn&#8217;t suffer a more serious injury. Fox has had a fantastic start to the season and it would have been heartbreaking to see it cut short by a major injury.<\/p>\n<p>For the season Fox is averaging 24.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game. Those numbers are great even though the small sample is being distorted by Fox&#8217;s 8 points, 1 assist and 0 rebound stat line in just 9 minutes of play against Charlotte.<\/p>\n<p>The Kings face Miami on Wednesday and then Orlando on Saturday.
