2022 Kings Herald Draft Board: Pick No. 14

Jalen Duren is off the board.

With 36% of the last vote, Jalen Duren is off the board. He joins Johnny Davis, Tari Eason, Jeremy Sochan, AJ Griffin, Dyson Daniels, Bennedict Mathurin, Keegan Murray, Jaden Ivey, Shaedon Sharpe, Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren and Jabari Smith Jr.

When a choice comes up, pick who you’d want the Kings to pick given all the players remaining.  Note: THIS IS NOT A MOCK DRAFT. This is a draft board, a ranked list of prospects you’d like to see the Kings pick. In other words, if we were the Kings front office, when our pick came up, we’d take the top name left on our board. So pick your choice, not who you think Monte McNair or anyone else would choose in a slot.

Explain your choice in the comments, and lobby for who should be added to the next pick’s choices.

This poll ends at 5 AM tomorrow. The next one will begin shortly thereafter.  Given the recent vote counts and waning interest, we’ll probably finish out the week and then close the board.

Agbaji here for me, but I would also consider Dieng, Jovic, and maybe even Mark Williams. A little too soon for me to consider Jalen Williams, but he is on the outer radar right about now.

If the Kings did 4 for Collins/16, these would be the guys that we would be looking at. It’s close, but I think that I would prefer Smith, Holmgren or Ivey over that. Too close to call on Banchero. Yes, the Ivey hype now has him at #3 for me, but it is still two weeks until the draft.

OA again, he seems like an easy fit based on where things stand, and easier to project than guys like Jovic, and Dieng. I still like Mark Williams, who I think is going to be great, but until he stretches the floor, he’s less than ideal with Sabonis and Holmes.

I’m going w/Jovic again for his playmaking & shooting.

I’m right there with you. He has a skill we know the Kings need – shooting and his birthday is… tomorrow! Hey 19 to Nikola.
