Watching Kings games without cable
Forgive me here, not only am I not tech savvy but the whole using apps for TV seems complicated when it comes to live sports. Are we able to locally watch Kings games if we don't have cable tv? We're looking to ditch cable as Netflix and Disney+ seem to be the only places we watch other than NBA and NFL games.
You need cable or streaming service. In the past I've used Youtubetv but prices has gone up. I've heard some good things about sling.com.
For me I've gone back to cable (Internet+TV bundle) and get free Disney+ from Verizon cellular.
Good luck finding the "right" combination
Thanks I'll take a look at YouTubetv and sling
Unfortunately, Sling dropped NBC Sports California roughly six months ago. I was using Sling because it was the cheapest option. At this point, the only way you are getting the channel is by signing up for YouTubeTV, HuluTV, or the other $65/month services. At that cost, it might be more logical to just keep your cable service, depending on your billing situation (though, I personally would rather use the YouTubeTV interface than deal with cable ever again. Plus, I have the roku's to be able to not have to pay for cable boxes anymore).
Hulu Plus has done the trick for me here in the Sacramento area (Rocklin). Given that we were already subscribing to Netflix and Disney, it wound up being a little cheaper than ATT.
So the Blue sling selection that says it has the NBC sports network doesn't have our network.. damn screwed again
