Considering the Knicks multiple failed attempts to sign a big free agent, trading for one makes some sense. They Knicks would also sell a ton of Westbrook jerseys. It still probably isn’t the wisest move, but it wouldn’t be out of character for them.
Dipo backtracks on wanting out of Indiana
Victor Oladipo is “fully committed” to the Pacers, according to Shams Charania.

This comes a day after reports that he spent last season asking players on other teams if he could come play with them. He reportedly did this in front of his teammates.

Anyone else notice that nieter DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge, Rudy Gay or Patty Mills were in that Spurs promo video?
I noticed a rumor yesterday that the Lakers were considering a trade package for DD, and I cant imagine that Rudy is not a target for a bench stretch 4 by a contender. The market for LA seems less obvious, but I think the NBA economy and where teams are finding themselves is in such a flux that almost nothing is going to surprise me between now and next seasons trade deadline.
stretch 4? The “stretch” part of stretch 4 is a stretch. Him at the 4 is also a smaller stretch. With all this stretching he better be pretty flexible.

Don’t see Westbrook coming to Sac. But, If it were to happen I would try to rationalize it. Westbrook has crazy work ethic. He doesn’t take plays or games off. This is something that could rub on off the young Kings(Maybe). Mcnair tells Westbrook to play his strengths( Getting other players involved, rebounding and taking smarter shots. Maybe a change of scenery and his age will give him some clarity. Especially, if he wants to extend his career. The Kings probably will be a lower seed in the playoffs. Can Westbrook reassess how he currently plays the game? If so, The Kings would certainly benefit from a culture standpoint. The other caveat is 3 pt shooting. If Fox can improve that part of his game, Then it potentially has firepower. If not, this kind of trade wouldn’t be too effective. Especially, of your 3-4 can shoot 3s either.
Pass on both ! Westbrook too big a financial commitment and Victor is damaged goods but thinks he is a super star and expects a huge contract !
